One TRS cable is used in this video. There is no difference between TRS and TS in the connection to the PO. These things are verified with actual equipments. However, when connecting to devices other than the PO, TRS cables may not work.

In the manual it says that the sync in and out on Roland Aira Compacts only accepts mono cables (ts) not stereo (trs). How are yours working with trs?
