How many sales did Eli Lilly lose and will continue to lose to compounding pharmacies that can now legally produce compounded tirzepatide, due to Lilly's years long shortages? Who would have thunk that a drug that successfully treats diabetes AND obesity would be in such high demand? Eli Lilly's shortsighted brain trust, that's who. Since the pens are so technically complicated to make, why not simplify things, at least in the short term, and just #releasethevials ?
Too bad Lilly is prioritizing starts. It is creating instability of the supply and people are not able to get above the starting, non therapeutic dose. I wish Lilly would focus on stabilizing supply annd prioritizing existing patients until it has the capacity to onboard more. The current chaos in finding the drug is causing people to skip doses or go to compound.
I have been without 7.5 for a month now for my type 2! I have tried all over my state to find it or even in 5. Albertsons told me today that their supplier told them that it is out of stock and TBD when it will be back in stock. Lilly should be worrying about the patients they already have not the ones that they could get!
I have been on Mounjaro for a year for DT2, now I can not get my medication. Eli Lilly is not looking out for the diabetic community. Profits over patients
He always skirts the supply question! He goes into the new needs for these meds. But doesn't lay out a plan for diabetics getting the meds they've come to rely on.
What about Trulicity that me and others with diabetes can no longer get. You should be a shamed of yourself for not being able to supply what we need before supplying people who just want to lose weight. I haven't been able to get my correct dosage for a few months and now I can't even get a smaller dosage either. So when something happens to me because of it, I'll instruct my family to sue for negligence on your part.
Because you truly are missing the point!!! You would want or even need to take a “chemical drug” to fix the chemistry that is broken in your brain if you had the disease of obesity and or type 2 diabetes!! Your comment is completely short sighted and hurtful to anyone who is suffering from the disease of obesity!!

how about asking about making the vials?
Why are they spending money on studies that will just increase the shortages, they should just be making the drug cheaper instead.
What the hell are you talking about?

Why can't you get your medication?
Looking forward to hearing from @DavidKnapp @OnthePen @ManintheMounjaro
A wonderful day Andrew
$5 to produce and charging $1200 - mmmm that’s a gouge
Why cheaper in other countries?
Every month I have trouble getting my mounjaro. When can I feel confident that I wont have to try alllllll over to get it.
I can’t get trulicity 3.4 for diabetes.
We can’t get our medications from you! It’s a shortage for us who is diabetic
Worst show on cnbc. Please get us new hosts

Turmoil can't hurt solana Joe, right
Seems that keeping a shortage has really increased the stock for them? Seems like it could just be set up that way intentionally? Just my opinion

I still miss the point. Why would I want to take a chemical drug produced by a pharmaceutical to lose weight instead of just stop eating as much.
Probably because if it was that simple and easy, everyone would’ve done that already? 🤷♂️

Obviously you’re not fat!

And obviously if it was just a matter of “stopping eating as much” there would be a lot less people with obesity world wide!!
