Stormbound Heart - Emotional/Fantasy Music

- Continuing with what I did on Heartland, I wrote a lot of the song before I recorded it, which is something I never really do. Usually I record in short snippets and layer things as I go along. This is a satisfying way to work because it comes together pretty quickly into sounding like a song and not a sketch. With simple tunes like this though, that process is hard to apply because of the lack of instruments during most of it.
I'd usually split up that minute long piano part into 4 pieces to make it manageable, but here I did it all in one go, which is why it has some imperfections along the way. I worked like that all the way through, and I think it sounds a bit more alive. This wouldn't work for all tunes, of course, some need the polish and care, but I think this tune works better with some bumps and scratches.
This song might not cure the Sunday blues, but I hope you'll enjoy it.

Thank you so much! 🧡
You perfectly recaptured my days of childhood playing on the snow on a winters day. Amazing job ❤
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!
And thus, yet another masterpiece is created. Excellent work as always, my good Sir!
Hope you're having a good summer!
Thank you so much! Classic Swedish summer so far, with one or two absurdly hot days surrounded by mild days with rain and thunder.
I'm late but this came out on my birthday and it was amazing to listen to!!! been listening to you for a long time now, and it's still wonderful to have you around, even after years. Thank you for blessing us with such amazing pieces every week, it's incredible each time!
Don't cry my dear
The storm will soon pass
I'll stay beside you my love
For our love shall ever last
Hear the rain fall o'er the roof
And trickled down the mountain tall
See the gloom fade again
And watch the sunlight fall
Sleep well, my dear one
No troubles will find you here
Sleep well, my child
For I will always be near
Lovely 💛

The melody reminded me of "A Thousand Years". Thought I could carry that mood over
Many times i pray and worship alongside your music. Very often words just come by themselves, without me even trying, like the flow of God's spirit and inspiration just blew right through me.
Not many tunes make me this way and for that i thank you and wish you a meeting with Jesus Christ so that one day we might talk and drink a bottle of wine or two when we get where he is 😊
Thanks for using your gift and not shoving it under the ground. Been listening to ur music for many years now and im glad u still do what u love.
I need to start commenting on these videos more to help with The Algorithm, they’re all so wonderful and this is no exception. Might even be my favourite, if I had to choose one.
Wow, that's beautfiul. Lovely stuff, thank you for gracing our ears, Vindsvept.
Thank you so much! It's a bit rougher than usual, but it has a rugged kind of charm, I hope!
Oh this sounds like homecoming, it's so calming and peaceful, love it! 🎶🖤
Thank you!
❤
Beautiful ❤️
Thank you! 😊
And here's a three-beat waltz of distant, joyous memories that swirl lightly in the air. Thanks a lot for your delightful work!
Thank you so much! I think I may have an unhealthy obsession with 3/4.
Sir, I got your album on Amazon again. I never expected that there are so many wonderful musics from you. I am going to keep buying your works.
Wow, thank you so much!
I love it! As always you manage to create a beautiful and unique piece that feels like a whole story full of emotions.
Thank you so much!
I really like this one, It's great for a relaxing day at home, or while reading a fantasy novel. Hope your feeling much better now! We appreciate your music.
I'm feeling a lot better, thank you Randy! It's a bit rough around the edges but I'm working on some more polished tracks as well :)
Another awesome banger!! Love it!!!!
Beautiful as always.
Thank you so much 😊
Wow, it's been a long time since I heard erhu in your songs. (1:58 I hope I chose the instrument correctly :D)
this is fascinating! 💙
Absolutely correct! It needed something that wasn't a flute of some kind 😀
masterpiece
I like this one very much! Thank you for sharing! ❤
I'm glad you like it, thank you :)
Hello Vindsvept😊
I really appreciate the work you do because it is worthy of appreciation and even higher. Doesn't it challenge you to have 2 weeks to make new music?
How does your day usually go?
Thank you! Absolutely, every month I seriously consider cutting it down to 3 weeks, it's a lot to do in such short time. If it wasn't for all the other related things it would probably be fine but I spend half my days doing other things like answering emails.
I get up at 06:30 and get the kiddo ready for school. Walk/bike/carry him there depending on the mood. Then I walk back home, make coffe and get to work. It a bit different depnding on the day but I usually start my days working on a song until lunch and then do the less fun stuff after or while I'm eating. Then I usually do recording after lunch, noisy stuff I suppose 😃
@@Vindsvept Thank you for your kind reply. I think I have one more question. I'm sorry if I was a little rude with this question. You said that you went to work after taking your child to school and coming home. Do you have a profession other than being a musician?
First!
Second!
Sounds like a character uniting with their long lost friends and family in the afterlife
Thank you! I wanted that longing kind of feeling, so that fits perfectly!
