They should also change the outer looks and change the instrument console to something more agressive!! Blue light with analog units make it look outdated!
Cross hatches are a gem imo because they offer the ruggedness and practicality (slightly) of an suv/crossover as well as the peppy driving dynamics of a hatch
Love the smooth SYNC3 from Ecosport, good to know they've brought it here. With the amount of kit on offer, this is easily the safest car in India right now below ₹10lakh. ESP, Traction Control, Hill Hold, 6 Airbags. Wow! Ford is leading this time and has gone all guns blazing to give a sweet product. They regained my attention with Figo Sport, and now Freestyle seems to be nicely tuned product for our roads. Just wished they gave the Aspire's rear seat with armrest here. Otherwise there is no flaws I can find here. Sweet Petrol and Diesel engines with new gearbox. Wishing Ford for good success with this one. Hopefully buyers research cars nicely and choose the mechanically well made one. Cheers!
I agree.. Hyundai is fooling Indians by giving gimmicky features and not safety features. The worst part of i20 is that it doesn't even has EBD, auto wipers,auto dimming ORVM,rear disk brakes.
ankush doshi true man. I don't know what's really wrong with Indians. They're most satisfied with Economic tin Suzuki cars than safer cars like ford and Hyundai.
All the safety features are great, but the aspire had an unstable body shell in crash tests. Hope they have updated that (even if it is a mere face-lift)
I love Ford. I had Ford Ikon for past 7 years. I was really very happy with that car. Then moved to Figo 2015 model. Its really good inside the city & highways. I have taken this Figo to Goa with my family. It gives good mileage of 19 Km/litter Ford has used a same engine to this Freestyle. No much changes in engine. But they have modified the outlook of this car. its good to buy this car.
i hav got the ambient base model due to financial limitations. but i can proudly say that i hav got a very rugged safe car at the best price.. i am extremely satisfied and in my view is way better than swift or the balebo.. because for me buult quality and safety are very important..
Took a test drive of it and i was quite impressed. The only thing which was doubtful was the build quality. The doors felt very light although the hood was really heavy. And the right end ac vent was broken in the testdrive car. But still mighty impressed!!

Sir i am planning to buy a petrol car and i am confused between ford freestyle titanium and baleno delta. Sir ford is a complete pakage and definitely u will recommend it but due to low resale value and milage i am thinking for baleno can u please help me out.
What about the after sales service of Ford? Is it as great and convenient as Maruti after sales? Also what about the parts? Easily available or will they be a crunch to the pocket?
The figo shud have come in Automatic variant with abt 120 ps power..and a small sunroof..and the pricing shud be around 10 lacs..then they will nail nail..
the figo with the same engine didn't have a lag till 2000 rpm, it had a very little lag like 1300 - 1500 only ! And the same engine is said to be carried over to this car as well ! my question is if there is no difference in between the two engines then why the lag ? Is it because of the new gearbox ?
back headrest is necessary... They could have provide leather seat, leather wrapped stearing and center armrest like ecosport.Instumention display is too old...from old fiesta...it's bit disappointing...
Unknown Person ofcourse it is!! Swift is made out of foil while freestyle is made out of real sheet metal!! Freestyle is more powerful, more safety, more features, better touchscreen.
Just visit Maruti showroom..all the doubts will be cleared..You will feel safer in an auto with a drunk driver than new swift..you ll never make your family travel in that car even if it runs on water...feel sad and angry for Maruti for playing with this iconic car which had always a special space in my heart..(I used 2 versions of swift. I still have one/ red vxi)
No good options are available in the top variants. Definitely the lower variants are loaded with added features with a lower price range. Options should be added in Titanium Plus: Leather/Synthetic Leather seat covers, Steering wheel cover, central arm rest both front and rear, a little extended thai support in back seats, a reading lamp for 2nd row and bright interior. Ford may give an excuse of adding ARP and removing the said features above to maintain the cost par with competitors. But Aspire has no ARP (HLA, TCS, ESP) neither any additional comfortness still it is priced with the same range with Freestyle. So Ford is selling the base variants with a marginal profit and the top variants with a huge. Customers purchasing top variants are losing a bit of comfortness otherwise this CUV is non-comparable in all directions.

Kishan Bhimani It's a big improvement - lighter, snappier, more precise. But on first impressions, I would say still not quite best in class. Will need to spend more time with it to be sure though.

I watched this video in 2018 and after 4 years of owner ship I can say this is an amazing car. We miss you ford.
Took a test drive of it and i was quite impressed.
The only thing which was doubtful was the build quality.
The doors felt very light although the hood was really heavy.

Everything is ok in freestyle. Only head rest is missing in rear seat. If ford solve this issue I am surely buying my dream car
