I love all your videos, plus I love how you share the word of God with us all. You are truly doing his work. You are are his hands.
God has truly blessed you . Thank you for all you do....
I think the fact that it’s two different name brand skillets and one makes it the coolest😊
I do enjoy seeing the damaged repair done to skillets. Some are done by people that are skilled in their trade and some are obviously done out of desperation to get it functional again.
I too enjoy the ingenuity employed to fix things in the old days.
Thank you. God Bless and stay safe.
That's a nice piece, but the best peace is the one on the counter between your left shoulder and elbow.
That’s really cool. Thank you for always sharing the word with us. 🙏🏻
I have some of them. Love them. Use every day. Old and very good shape
Thank you for sharing the word of God.
That's a special piece for sure. I have a skillet that I found out here in Oregon that I have had trouble identifying. It has that slight triangle at the handle with a slight ridge where it meets the pan too. I call it the disco ball because it spins so much. It is my buttermilk bisket pan that I learned how to make from watching your videos. It's clearly old and has a very minor amount of sulphur pitting on the bottom. It's probably a southern mystery piece. Thanks.
Too cute & now ppl will be mix & matching broke skillets. Awesome.
I would set up at Collinsville back in the late 80's ,it was always a mystery on who was sitting up beside you . One day I had a preacher without a church one side the other side was a person selling coon hounds . The one that would drive you crazy was the water bird whistle .The guy would blow that thing all day long . That one is just the right size for cornbread
That is unique. It we old sit c on my stove for regular use. 😊
You've got into Dutch oven cooking again. Have 5 of them and I am restoring an old lodge #12 right now.
As a blacksmith ,I love repaired things
rstr.
Very interesting. Love your Easybeezy. The only seasoning I use. I like the look of that pan.❤
not too long ago I found a 3 notch vintage lodge 11 skillet. I like it so much better than the newer ones. It has a smoother cooking service and it's not nearly so heavy as the modern ones. I think Lodge messed up. The old ones were so much better. I got a great price on it. Flat bottom, no wobbles and all fixed up. That's the skillet I use to sear my steaks.
Yeah, I kept my old Lodge frying pan with a broken off handle (I didn't know about braising) even after somebody bought me a new frying pan. The new pan never developed the slick black surface, even though I tried caring for it more than I ever did the Lodge.
old ones are better, it is something to consider in a lot of product. washers, driers, refrigerators are junk these days. the older ones last forever. there was a motorcycle, the maico 490, 1981, was the best cycle in its class. no manfacturer could beat it. but the next 3 years models were so bad by comparison, the company went bankrupt. all new stuff is junk.
@@bobs5596 Yes, I had to replace all my appliances in 2016. The reviews here on UA-cam were terrible for every make and model of everything. I bought cheap ones, and I feel lucky they lasted until 2023, since people said their appliances were only lasting two years or needed service all the time.
Pretty cool!!
Loved the reading of the Bible verses 🙏❤
Quite a unique piece you've got there. It's a Frankenstein. 😂
Is the handle braised or welded?
My current favorite to cook in is a small logo number 7. Its so well seasoned pretty much nothing sticks.
That's interesting that someone saved it by adding a handle to it.
Hay Steve look on Eay someone is selling a BSR # 2 with BSR on the handel for 799 or buy now 1'599 ends in 9 hours. How's the book going can't wait?
Thank you for the scripture reading. I believed you were gonna call it a BSR because of the ring on the bottom 😅. Have a Great day Mr. Strohn.
I picked up a Northern mystery skillet this weekend. I got it Up North. I have no idea what it is.
Skillet mashup LOL
Question, which should you do first, remove rust or lye bath. Or, does it really matter?
Off topic I got a BSR #3x small pour spouts the 3x looks hand scribed I was told that it's a century piece i thought century had size and inches so could it be a red mountain.
I would call that the johny cash skillet
Haha...
Is ok to mill cast iron skillet
Is there a link or anything to buy cast iron from you????
Thanks. It's a mut skillet. Mixed. I love my mut. She's the best.
It’s a Frankenskillet
i would be so afraid of dropping it.
I've got the opposite, son of a gun.
