Tyler county is my home track it gets such a bad name because of the dust but you all need to remember this is DIRT TRACK RACING. It’s by far some of the best short track racing you will ever see. It never disappoints even on a normal weekend. Glad to see Davenport pick up another one, hopefully he can keep that momentum going through this week!

@@teresagoodwin7458i don’t think you realize the work they put into that track it was hot and humid at tyler county for 3 straight days and they had 3 straight days of racing they had 125 cars on it on friday then another 90 on saturday then the lucas guys ran on sunday

ya, I'm sure they didnt think of that and appreciate your advice. the type of dirt at some tracks simply doesnt hold moisture as well as others. and its still a very hot time of year.
Racers these days want it slick and dry. Usually leads to boring races. In the 90s/00s you’d still have mud slinging and tackiness in the features..

Shit I've seen tracks with no dust and I never see them even drive a water truck onto the surface and this is in newyork where it's dustbowl central up here. Legit only time dust comes is when the rain starts then dust starts to kick

all these dust princesses it’s insane it’s dirt track racing 4 out of the top 5 all mentioned how they love this track in their interviews obviously they’re doing just fine

Im a big Thorton fan have been since his usmts modified days.. But no one is smoother then Davenport that guy is glass week after week so smooth he may not be the fastest car every week but hes smart an so smooth week after week
He drives his car like Billy moyer does, just quicker nowadays
