Quick explanation, while Goku in super saiyan would have no difficulty with Omni man, Bardocks base form is no where near the level where Gokus was when he turned super saiyan. The difference is 10k x50 (bardock) vs like 1 million x50 (goku)
Is Omni-man winning the right choice? I still feel like Bardock should have won but I didn't mind Omni-man winning, they gave me the sun disk feet to understand better and why Omni-man won but the community was so pissed about this. But I'm starting to think people are overreacting a lot I saw comments saying they wish Death Battle stayed dead and some people wanted refunds.
The fight was cool but the ending and some explanations are bullshit and i going to explain why. 1. bardock super sayan should have lasted much longer than 30 seconds since Goku, who like Bardock does not master the form at all, was able to maintain it for at least 5 minutes and don't tell me it's because he had no more energy after transforming into an ozaru because NO, transforming into an ozaru does not reduce the basic power as you said, it is creating an artificial moon to trigger the transformation when there is no full moon which reduces base power (a technique bardock can't even use) 2. The destruction of Omni-Man's planet means nothing because not only did he need the help of 2 other Viltrumites but also the core of the planet was weakened by one of the Space Racer's lasers so that King Vegeta (whose power is equal to Bardock destroys the same thing without visible effort). Bardock should have won the second he turned into a super sayan and I'M NOT OPEN TO DEBATE.
Sun-disk anyone? Omni-man's kind are considered impervious to weaponry that can destroy that enormous disk, yet he can kill his own kind despite them having such insane durability. The planet feat is pretty much redundant in comparison.
It is quite amazing how many people, including you, missed that they completely acknowledged that very fact and clearly say that the Sun Disk is a far greater strength feat than the first planet feat. Go back and watch the video again, but pay attention to what they say specifically and especially the black boxes in the top right corner through out the rundowns and the ending explanation. They address what you just commented.
Perhaps it would have been more helpful to have a size comparison between the Sun-Disk and the three planets King Vegeta destroyed, or something like that. Numbers gotten too big for their own good.

Death Battle's maths hold up to scrutiny but they could've presented the information way better, especially given we're dealing with numbers too big to easily visualise. It begs the question why they made the giant-planet feat such a focus when it was going to be completely eclipsed (pun not intended) by the sun-disk feat anyway.
