Been ages since I've posted any videos! this is one of my favourite Happy Hardcore classics, thought I'd have a bit of a scratch over it! Enjoy!!
2022 showing my kid how scratching was done in our day. Memories! Hit me in the feels.
And RIP Junior legend see you in Hardcore heaven 🙏
This is brilliant!!!! I love it ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Sometimes you merely bow in the presence of greatness, this is top class scratching 👌
Ah thank you so much! You've made my day with that comment!
@@AWardTube no problem giving credit where credits due pal... I love the happy hardcore scene, used to DJ out myself at a place in Hereford and love a bit of scratching but I've never got to your tier of scratching 👌💪
@@DJFuller thanks mate!, I used to play out around 2007- 2009 it was really fun times, I haven't actually played out for over 10 years now, I do still have decks set up though to have the odd mix and scratch when I have the time 😘
@@Helter195 I've seen this one before, great scratching but I always wished they recorded the audio direct and replaced the camera audio, crossfader clicks messes with my OCD 😂
@@Helter195 do you have decks now? I've bought and sold so many pairs now over the years! I'm keeping mine for life now! Yes Sy & Hype used to be my main influences growing up! Yeah I like Gammer too. I remember first seeing him when he was about 18 at bring back the bounce in blackpool! Good times!
mc junior massive respect man for this grow up on his stuff brill mc nice voice cheers
Awesome buddy!! : ) Top notch stuff man!
Amazing brother!! 👌🏼
BRINGING IT BACK,THE BRAINS. scratch....whos claiming it
Close my eyes and im anywhere amazing man amazing
Thanks mate 😃 I have some full mixes here. All quite old and recorded a few years ago! m.soundcloud.com/meatdj/meat-sunday-sesh
This is music, people these days don't have a clue. How stuff like this ever disappeared from clubs etc is beyond me.
Mitch Waterson thanks buddy, I agree! My music taste stayed in the 90’s & 00’s maybe it’s a sign that we’re getting older :(
Disapeared because it got crap, smaller scene compared to house, so less producers and watered down with producers not good enough. All the best young talent was going to house music. It's a sad fact, but hardcore was swallowed up by house. Trance was far better and musically, better produced, and hardcore lost a lot of people.
@@bonjovi7399I only disagree like this when it was ravers for ravers it was pure when it started getting a massive eyeball on it everybody wanted to be a superstar. The real ones went down with the ship the celebs haha they bastardised the scene but we all loved it until we couldn't anymore. House is house UK had hardcore our hardcore.
Quality scratching love it. R.I.P mc junior. X
Thank you! Hardcore lost a legend when Junior passed 😢
Love scratching and stompy hardcore!
Looking at my last comment i made, i watched this vid 4 years ago.... This is still one of my fav hardcore scratching vids, Wish i had your skills man, I've just about got 2 click flares down but thats about it haha. Still sounding awesome in 2020 man : )
If you can 2 click you will be able to do these scratches. It's mainly chirps and babys, look up the Joe coolie scratch and learn that 👊
@@scratchgonzo Nice one man! Cheers 👊🏻
always come back to this video, absolutely love it
Thank you! Really appreciate your kind words, it was a while ago when I made this!
I have watched it countless times over the years mate.
Have you still got the turntables?
@morzie4075 thank you! I have just bought some again, I only set them up last night. I've had them on and off over the years, I keep selling then re-buying again. I'll see if I can do some more videos soon. Do you have decks?
@@AWardTube happy days 🙂
I have a ddj flx 6 controller as unfortunately I dont have the funds for turntables and vinyl so have to remain digital for the time being 🤣
I did have some cdj 100s and gemini 626 mixer until a few years back when they decided to finally end their life lmao
I have some mixes on my page which are not the best as i have only been back djing properly the past few years.
My problem is that I struggle to mix all the newer hardcore due to how it is produced as I like long mixdowns so finding it abit of a struggle to mix 16 beat drops and dropping at the right time where i am used to 32 or 64 beat drops on the classic happy hardcore.....
If there is anyway i can contact you privatly can you let me know mate as id love to be in regular contact 🙂 @@AWardTube
one of the best vids on youtube!
Matthew Cordiner thank you very much mate :)
Still a belter
That's class!
Fantastic 🤓👍🏼 I miss my decks so much ☢📶☢
thank you :)I've still got mine but hardly ever go on them any more! this is a few years ago now, I might have to dust them off and make a few newer vids!
love it !
You the next scratch master bro 👍
Very nice!
Well good
Quality mixing and scratching!
Nice one mate 👍
Little dj Sy :) nice .!!!!
Here in 2021 💙
That is exceptional scratching -well done.
Thank you so much! Really appreciate it😊
AWard Tube mate it’s top notch, I can scratch but this is tight as fook. What tip would you give to anyone trying to get this good ? Is it cross fader or vinyl hand that sorts this out ?
@@Erayzor76 wow, thank you very much! I would say my turning point was when I learnt how to do chirps, can you do chirps? Most of my scratching techniques are based around this style. I'll do some slow down techniques on a video on here. I've been meaning to for ages now!
AWard Tube aww nice one mate I’d appreciate that. ☺️
Sick scratching pal
Good song choice nice scratching

Thank you for your comment, is it really 10 years ago! 🫨 I'll have to do something soon!

francis shaw thank you very much mate :)
I'll put some more vids up soon and yeah I'd better get the duster out!!
djmeat
What scratch tool is that you used?
Well decent.ty
Cheers buddy 👍
Vestax ???
what scratch records are you using?
On this one I'm using "this is for the dj volume 1" by scratchaholics
sy would be proud,.. m3ds by the way?
break these techniques down for us, i see many sy scratches there my friend. reverse go flare the key
I think they're predominantly babys and chirps
mmmm sounds like dj sy to me trying to copy off a tape
Nice one Matt I'll take that as a compliment :)
+djmeat and if it is you doing it thats fcking banging dude you could make a killing bang some more hardcore vids up scratching ;.)
sorry dj meat caught you out that is dj sy mix force and styles lost in music nice try hahahahahaha
once again thank you for the compliment, it's not really my style to pretend to Scratch and put it on youtube haha, TBH I wouldn't say this is anywhere near as good as Sy but thanks! sorry to disappoint you but I'm afraid it's me lol
class scratching speed your ahh yeah sample up what decks u using
ADDA1683 thanks mate, this was a few years ago! At the time I had technics 1210 mk3's with a vestax pmc 37 pro. 👍
@@AWardTube what's the scratch record your using
Tom Anderson hey mate, it’s Scratchaholics- this is for the DJ Vol 1
There’s one on EBay right now 👍 www.ebay.co.uk/itm/333721677089
@@AWardTube thanks mate
I hate happy hard core and scratching to it is the only good thing about it.
It's definitely my favorite thing about it! What music are you in to mate?
@@AWardTube oldskool rave, break beat, oldskool hip hop, progressive house/trance,hip house, a bit of drum and bass, house, trip hop....that's what I mix...but I'm into let ads of other stuff for listening to.
