Found your channel recently, lovin’ the fact you include the bits that don’t go so right but having a laugh with it. Waterfall shots are bloody brilliant.
You should rename this the Lower Gavin Falls .

Oregon travel tip for fueling up: pull up to pump and get out your car like 99% of the world and grab a nozzle. Feign ignorance when someone runs at you like you're holding a weapon and hand them the nozzle. It's a real time saver at the pump. :)

Also anyone actually wanting to see sensor spots stepping to f/22 or the smallest fstop for your lens will show more than a wide open aperture.

That's a gorgeous falls and photos. Good shot of Mt. St. Helens. It did erupt on me in 2004.

I went to Lower Lewis River Falls last year and got to know my new-to-me Canon T6 and got a few good shots of this beautiful falls. After watching this video, I now MUST go back for different perspectives! Thank you for the inspiration!
It is pretty interesting to be watching your earlier videos after having seen all of your more current stuff...the evolution of your on-camera personalities and style is quite dramatic.
Gavin, great video and to quote Thomas Heaton, those pictures are "Stunnin'" and "Absolutely glorious". I live about 2 hours from those falls and will have to visit them this year.

Well I just had a photogasm. I've lived in that area most of my life and headed down there in August so guess where I'm stopping? I've never used the toll bridge either and the GF wants to go to hoodriver for a winery. Thanks mate, always enjoy your videos and this one hits home; literally.

Great video! The last image is superb, sublime in fact. Regarding the two images you wanted us to comment on which we preferred.....for me, it is the version with the rocks in the foreground, leading you into the waterfall. Lovely image. Thanks for posting.

Great video, this is my home area (Portland, Oregon), always fun to see it from a foreigner's perspective.
Just starting photography about a year and a half ago, if you ever come back to the states, wyoming in the winter and spring is spectacular, ive gotten some amazing shots (including night shots if youre interested in those) and since its such a large area you could visit all these different beautiful places like yelllowstone, the tetons, devils tower, and various other places throughout the state and in multiple different times of the year, id love to see my states beauty get more recognition

Gavin - Loving your channel. It must be frustrating as heck to go to the top of a hill to place a GoPro just so you can capture yourself falling down but it makes for great entertainment. It's hard to say that any picture from that waterfall is better or worse but I sure liked the exposure with the rocks as a foreground interest.
I now subscribe, I really like your video. Lower lewis falls is such a beautiful place to take spectacular pictures..
