Truth be told, it doesn't have a very high chance of succeeding if it's sent. You guys still don't get the Academy. I think The Great Indian Kitchen has a much high chance of scoring a nomination for the final shortlist if it's sent.
P.S. Academy award is no seal of approval for a film's greatness. Despite that, if we insist on winning one, we need to select the type of movies that have a higher chance with the Academy.

See this is the main difference between south and north nepotism. Actors are humble and have very less ego. Give equal importance to outsiders.

Indeed indeed they both had backgrounds, but reality is that, people accepted actress Jyothika very well compared to actress Nagma who had a shorter career period in tamil cinema. There are few more examples of failed nepotism, like, actor Prashanth, recent actors Shanthanu son of famous director/actor Mr Bagyaraj, famous actor (Baahubali Kattapa's) Sathyraj's son who are still trying reach the audience; they haven't just been fondly accepted by the audience yet, as a Protagonist/Stardom. Indeed Nepotism exists everywhere, but it's the raw talent that's making them exist in this field. Actor Ajith Kumar, actor Sivakarthikeyan, actor Vijay Sethupathi all are outsiders in tamil cinema who have reached a higher level stardom status.

I am always a fan of Jyothika. she is the best example of how women should be. Despite being a top heroine of her time, it never had gone to her head. After marriage, she was always a down-to-earth woman as a general mother. Hope today's girls/women learn sometime from this gorgeous actress.
