I stood there taking all of it in while my jaw was about to dislocate from my skull from how much it dropped lmao. I definitely have a thing for this band now!
So many Slipknot fans have probably gone their whole lives without hearing one hardcore song let alone seeing hardcore dancing i feel like this may have been something of a culture shock 😂

As much as i love hardcore and KL, they are bigger than hardcore now, Its not hardcore if youre playing in MSG with barricade etc, It sounds counter intuitive because if its not hardcore to be on the bigstage then how does that help grow the genre? Thats the point hardcore has always been underground 50-100 people to a show DIY venues and merch booths, They are just way bigger than that now.
I got to the Slipknot concert late not thinking these openers were good (past 3 concerts I went to had bad) and when I heard their last 10 minutes from the VIP area I regretted missing them
God , so many phones. I get it, if you're way back there take a video but in the pit!? Lame and sad. Im 38 so I was able to experience concerts without a crazy amount of phones (99-2004ish). I miss those days and I bet sone of these newer bands couldnhave been part of that. Although, I know the underground hardcore/metal scene still has shows like that.

Such a great set. Yet all we see from the crowd is a bunch of zombies and other zombies glued to their cell phones. Long live heavy metal(and I love Knocked Loose) but this crowd is nowhere to be found.

That snare is locked in. Sound engineer did an incredible job at this venue for this depth and range of music.
How does it sound so good? I kept noticing that too. I saw them in may, and it was genuinely the best sounding live show I’ve ever heard.
