I hate that AFRO look, that AFRO mountain of hair. No shape, it's dry looking. It looks like she doesn't care. And a lot of black people these days in the name of "nationalism" and being different are wearing their natural hair like they don't care. They don't even wash and condition it. And to add a 2 tone color (blond) makes it worse. How do women comb their hair? How do they sleep with all that hair?
The wig is much better looking. But girlfriend needs to figure out how to style her real hair.
What are the products that you use to get the hair to relax like that

As an older-than-dirt white woman, I have to say that yellow hair did not flatter you. My sincere apology if I've offended you. But by the time your GENIUS stylist was finished, I could see how gorgeous you really are! The sleek, smooth look is your thing girl, it sets off your lovely face shape, your elegant eyes, and great skin.

I personally do not like the multi coloring in the hair or styling of any woman , regardless of race......I too think it's unflattering!.....I think solid coloring of hair is really flattering...the young lady is beautiful, and that coloring took away from her natural beauty and features...

The transformation was beautiful! I must admit that I’ve never truly understood how this process works, but I work at a high school and some of the girls have shared the process, but it’s totally different to watch a professional style each stage. Every girl should feel beautiful at their prom and have enabled this to happen. I hope she had a amazing time!

Gosh, she is beautiful. I’m really envious about her wig. Like the lady below, I’m a 63 y/o white woman who is disabled. I developed alopecia in response to my illnesses so I wear wigs whenever I’m out. I just wish I could put them on that they stay on. I should add that my natural hair was baby fine blonde hair.

As a mom of a teen daughter who has her own natural hair, but sees all of the wigs and the versatility that they offer; I have to say that this is one of the best NATURALLY GORGEOUS installations I’ve seen. I ❤️ loved seeing this young girl’s face light up when she saw her results!! I was concerned about the lashes, but they were just right for the Prom Glam! 👏🏽👏🏽 💃🏽 💃🏽
I’ve seen several from the cousin who does hair in her home to others in a salon. My 15 yr old is obsessed with wanting lace front wigs to change up her look. This is one of the first times I’ve seen one installed so naturally that I would 😅🙈allow my daughter to have on a special occasion like this since your client didn’t have any traction or removal alopecia.
The incredible transformation was evident in her confidence at the end. This made me so joyful. I pray she enjoyed her prom; she looked amazing.

I was born in Mexico and at the age of 5, I saw my first black child in kindergarten. (My landlady was black and I thought she was beautiful). Phyllis was in my class. She lived with her grandma 3 houses from the school. Phyllis invited me to go to school with her. When I got to her house, her grandma was combing her hair with a hot comb. I thought she was being tortured. Phyllis kept saying, “It’s ok. Grandma never burns me.” I never knew how much it entails to comb black hair. My mouth is open. As a 70 year old, my hat is off to you for making this young girl beautiful!
