Love my ultra, I got the black with orange band. Best thing was the 350 dollar trade-in they gave me for the 5pro. I don't use all the health features and my battery life is two and a half to three days. Mine is paired to my zflip5 and I got the T-Mobile plan that was only 10 dollar connection fee and 7 dollars per month. T-Mobile mobile plan for the watch was much higher but if you go to there store you can work out a deal. Just don't forget and leave the mobile plan turned on as it will zap the battery overnight. White looks great, glad you finally got it.
As a fellow owner of the white Ultra Watch that was also long backordered, I can attest to hearing a recording of my own snoring as a UA-cam video played back on my Android tablet on the nightstand. LOL Unfortunately, I did get confirmed as having signs of sleep apnea, so I took steps with my health to address that.
Yes, that white is just on another level of "check me out" it's gorgeous and that screen is just good to look at, the vibration haptics on this watch is not compared to any other watch I've used either. I have it in white and grey peakform band, which to be honestly looks extremely mature and not sporty but not as comfortable as the marine band i tested from a friend. Like u said I'm not sure samsung will make the ultra next year cos at this point i don't think all this tech companies need to be releasing products every year anymore, we've literally gotten to the peak level on innovations.
I completely agree with you! I've always been a watch guy, and I would really like a Breitling or a Tag Heuer. But they don't do what smartwatches do! And so I've got the Galaxy Watch Ultra, and I love it! The marine band is so comfortable! I thought I wasn't going to like it, but it's awesome! And it's so fast compared to my Galaxy Watch 6 classic!
Yes it's a great watch.. I do enjoy it but no body's really talking much about the build.. It's not solid titanium like the Apple watch.. so that probably reflects in the price.. but I wish the Galaxy watch was all titanium !

I love it man... design wise it's perfect to me. So tough looking and the bands I recently got, take it over the edge. This is the first smartwatch I've ever bought and I've been a phone geek since way before iPhone's, Galaxy's, and Google phones existed.
I just got the galaxy ultra watch with a trade in. It’s very nice build and battery life is good. The only thing I do not like is the lack of watch faces for the ultra and other galaxy watches when Samsung switched to google wear os. My everyday daily driver go to watch is the galaxy 3 watch. To me it works very well and there’s so many watch faces to choose from.
Dick Tracy watch was tough. If I remember correctly he used to have to pull an antenna out to make a call, I might be wrong. Being born in the 80's and growing up in the 90', and loving tech then, really gives a different level of appreciation for the tech we have now.
I got the same exact one you got- and yes mine took forever to arrive as well. I love it! And I always get questions or compliments when I wear it. I use a series 9 Apple watch as well, and it's been a little overwhelming to change to this because it does so much, and navigating around is just different enough to throw me off. But man it's nice!! In fact seeing this video- I'm going to wear it tomorrow!

I was in the same situation. I pre-ordered the next day, and they kept changing the date. I finally got so upset and called the Samsung Experience Store here in Los Angeles, they had them in stock. This was in the first week of August. So I cancelled my pre order and reordered and picked up my White Ultra within 2 days. Didn't regret giving up the free band. Traded in my 4 Classic and got 300 for it. Love this watch!!!
I got my on pre order day. Delivered to me on July 19th. So far its a great watch. However im not having good battery life. I have 10% battery life left and its been on for 1d 15 hours. For some reason i loose 12% every night while sleep tracking. Other than that its a great watch. Injust have to charge it every day.
They really raised their game on tracking and performance. I have the Garmin Marq 2 which looks great, but something about the Samsung Ultra is making me lean toward it beyond the smarter features. I do like the look after time and some areas have surprised me like better sleep tracking, less lagging heart rate...pleasantly surprised.
Great video as always. Got mine a while ago traded in my watch 5 pro which I loved...after the first update my battery has been incredible. Want sure i was going to get this at first until i saw it in person at a Samsung store and it looks much better in person. Love the bands, put my 6 classic on and it feels strange with the slimmer band. Still love that one but thought I'd miss the rotating bezel more. The ultra is the best smart watch I've had. Definitely with the trade in of my 5pro.

Couldn't agree more. This is hands down my favourite watch. Love how smoothly it works with Peloton app. Really not impressed with Samsung Health which is hit or miss with Health Connect syncing with my health apps. So while the watch provides Peloton with all the health stats. This doesn't end up syncing back into Samsung Health. Which leaves this watch near useless in tracking my fitness journey. Sad as the hardware is amazing!! Wish Samsung would work well with others. They should have their own "Health Connect" to priortise connectivity as good as Fitbit with every other fitness app and hardware.
I love how it feels on my wrist. So much better than my 6 classic. It's weighted evenly due to the heavy band. There is a slight lag as you type the pin in that worries me.
I have the w7 I am loving the chip it's finally running smooth fluent I seriously couldn't be happier with it battery life is really good I'm glad you got your ultra finally.
I agree they should have came out with a larger screen. And I too pre-ordered mines and ended up canceling it because it took so long. It was pushed back several times. This video had the potential to be great if you had shared more examples about the watch in specific. With actual usage versus just talking through it.
I have the Watch 7 and I just put a Watch 7 to 7 Ultra cover on it that makes it look like the Ultra. No sense in spending 300 extra bucks when I can get the same form factor on the Watch 7.
At first I was going to order the white but with my job I went with titanium silver yes this watch is amazing it just works perfectly for all my needs I pre-ordered on July 13vwas given date August 14 but it shipped 2 weeks earlier I received it on jusy 31 this ultra watch is just great yes battery life 2.5 days if you turn stuff off you'll get more but I didn't buy it for that big upgrade gw6 classic I don't miss bezel digital one works perfectly

Great content. I love my gray titanium ultra. I have the orange marine band and a trail band, a bunch of 3rd party bands. Have a bunch of cases covers. I'm getting a good 4 days on a single charge, but I have mine on power saver. And no AOD, and limited health. About the price, I pay 27.00 a month through my carrier. Oh, here's something the ultra 2 can't do. The galaxy watch ultra will tell you which way to turn, not just show you. Apple's watch can't do that. I have a 4000 dollar tag heuer aquagraph I don't wear anymore. I'm afraid the white one would get dirty, that's why I didn't by that one.
I chose the titanium silver because I didn't want the sporty look of the titanium gray and even as a woman the white on white was a little too flashy for me. That being said it's an absolutely beautiful watch and when you pair really nice bands with it including stainless steel Milanese or leather it just steps that watch up especially when you choose a classic watch face.
I just want a watch that i can make my own faces, see calls & notifications, and some other little things. No stupid heart rate, GPS or sleep tracking nonsense.
Nice to see Samsung making an ultra watch, although I think the Apple Watch Ultra looks more clean and stylish. I don’t like the circle screen in a square body, feel like you lose screen realestate. I use my Apple Watch Ultra to respond to messages with the keyboard. So the bigger the better as far as I’m concerned
I don't use any Apple devices but I agree with you. The circle in the square is ugly imo. To me I like circular watches. It looks more classy and nice. The only square watches I like are those Casio calculator ones. 😊 I had one growing up so.
For Android phones, I think the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra is the best. Overall, I think Apple Watch Ultra is the best smart watch. Quantified Scientist’s latest video showed how inaccurate the sensors still are on the GW7U. I have both for context.

If it didn't detect sleep apnea it's because you don't have it?!?! I have both the Galaxy Watch 7 & Galaxy Watch Ultra and both detected sleep apnea.. I only had to wear each for 2 days and it was flawless.
Im not sure if I want the watch ultra becauseI felt it at best buy and dont like the plastic feel around the middle all around where the buttons are not sure what coating they used but feels strange to me in my option like plastic

Yes I have the same watch it took about 4 weeks from preorder till August 13 to get but it's worth the wait I'm getting with AOD everything on almost 4 days. My galaxy watch 6 classic would only 3 days with AOD off. It works great with Pixel Fold.
I’m not trying to be the naysayer in the comments here but, I don’t like how the actual screen size is no bigger than the standard watch 7. Too much bezel for me. Also from what I’ve read, the sensors still aren’t quite there compared to other manufacturers, as far as accuracy. I really like my Ultra Watch 2 and I thought about switching over to the Galaxy Watch Ultra when it launched, but once I got my hands on it at Best Buy it just seemed less premium overall than my Apple Watch Ultra 2. These are just my own options. Love your channel and glad the watch is working well for you. ✌🏻

I got the Titanium Silver. The Silver one looks the best to me, especially with the Silver band adapters.

If they weren't going to include the rotating bezel, I'm not sure why they didn't make the screen match the shape of the watch casing.

It works great with my pixel 9 pro xl. I get almost 3 days out of it. I don't use the sleep features so that probably helps.

I don't like fake square really cocrcle design. I remember the original samsung gear watch was too ahead of its time. They need to bring that back

I’m not trying to be the naysayer in the comments here but, I don’t like how the actual screen size is no bigger than the standard watch 7. Too much bezel for me. Also from what I’ve read, the sensors still aren’t quite there compared to other manufacturers, as far as accuracy. I really like my Ultra Watch 2 and I thought about switching over to the Galaxy Watch Ultra when it launched, but once I got my hands on it at Best Buy it just seemed less premium overall than my Apple Watch Ultra 2. These are just my own options. Love your channel and glad the watch is working well for you. ✌🏻
