My dad was a huge Gibson advocate, absolutely loved them. I just never found them comfortable for my tastes. That SG does look sick though. Great playing as always mate!!
Oh funny enough my dad is the one who introduced me to Schecter and I’ve stuck with them the first couple years of learning. Great guitar for beginners! In my experience at least. I much prefer Charvels and SGs these days. Cheers!
@@oar5926 Absolutely. But Schecters range of guitars in the £1500-£2000 price range are all you'd ever need. At least mine is anyway. Got a Joe Duplantier Charvel that I don't really like the neck on. Think I'm too used to the ultra thin C thing Schecter is doing lately.
The big difference between Gibson and Epiphone SGs is that the Gibson has more carved bevels. The horns are more pronounced on the Gibson due to that. The only complaint I can make is the flame top. Maybe because a lot of budget guitars are using flame maple veneers, they seem common. Quilted maple would be better in my opinion. I also happen to like quilted maple better than flame. SGs are classic and you can't go wrong.
Supreme's are very much their own thing. If you're used to a regular LP/SG I'd suggest trying before you buy. It's not just that they're flashy. There are differences in feel and sound. Personally I like both, but not all do.

The Blackstar makes all the difference.
Excellent sounds ❤
You haven’t heard it yet. I assume you are relying off of inference. His stuff is great though

That’s ironic because he said you can’t feel the difference lol
The beast
Sweet demo, man. If SGs are good enough for Tony Iomi, Angus Young and Derek Trucks then they’re good enough for me!
Tony Iommi doesn’t play SGs. 🤫
Love SG's, but I do hate the gold tone on the components. I think it makes it look cheap. SG's are a work horse, think of a gold plated AK-47?
I don't, Gibson ssucks XD
The Gibson demographic is 60-80 year olds :( The "mature" branding just doesnt do it for me.
