Great episode boys! Ben's K references were hilarious. The last Ga He place looks amazing, and you are correct - authentic K food in SG is very difficult to find. Most dishes have been tailored to local taste buds.
Went to eat the ginseng chicken stall. Waited for 1hr 20 mins but the food is super authentic and tasty. Really!! The beef and saba fish is fresh n nice! Go n try. Worth waiting. Bcos is use their heart ❤️ to cook a home made food. Super!
Can you also please make a Get Fed episode where the location is in the place where you travel in your travelogue? For example, you go to Jakarta for your travelogue so you make 'Get Fed: Jakarta edition' or maybe you go to Iceland so you make 'Get Fed: Iceland edition'😃
Bibimbap has the smokey flavor usually because of the stone bowl they burn the bottom of the rice to make it crispy (nurungji) so that's where the taste came from. That's how they do it in Korea.
@12:45 Bromance is strong when you know that the guys are okay with Ben mixing the bibimbap with his own spoon & all of them continue scooping it to eat. 🌝
Eh I just look back at this episode for the GAHE going eat today 😮driving down although far haha 😂just realize ending you all did the running Man feel chok cross haha.
Ga He Korean's cold noodles is very good too, comparable to restaurant. Flavourful soup, nice chewy noodles, perfect for the hot weather or when you don't have very good appetite. :p Their spicy pork (bulgogi?), i.e. standard food court korean food order, is also one of the nicest i have ever had. And i personally don't really like bulgogi that much.
just tried Ga He korean food but orders were overwhelming! 1hr+ of waiting time..might have affected the quality of food too. will try it 2months later maybe 😊
They only opened recently. For the first few weeks, the waiting time was really long. as they got used to the workflow, i guess. Getting better now, and one commendable thing is that even if the queue is super long, the food quality is still good and consistent.
Wa i go to the korean food today , reached 12 they say hello sorry ah they were very polite, they say must wait 1h… i say huh than how i eat sia, they say ppl start queuing from 10+am liao daily…. 😅
Cannot understand what so good about the ginseng chicken soup. Bought a half portion and the soup is bland!!! Totally cannot understand what is the rave…😢
just went to Gahe, tried the ginseng chicken soup. its so-so only. might be a little bland also. china aunty took my order. maybe today not on form. nothing special
korean food in korea sucks, stayed half a month there & suffered there cos its mostly tasteless, or not cooked well. its fking ex also, food court and street food starts from $10 and eating out starts from $20 BUT KOREAN FOOD IN SG BUSSIN, i love sg

Three of you so FUNNY!!! Love Ben's reference to his Korean transit experience hehe
