Indeed. There are plenty of categories to consider: casual fans, competitive, HvZ, or plain superstore wars. Even more if you consider the gulf between those who mod and those who don't.

I've mentioned in the past, I found your channel at random, I'm not even sure how you came across my feed. But I'm thankful I subscribed. This year my partner and I were buying presents for our little cousins and by chance, as we cruised through the toy isles, I found a few Blasters I recognized from episodes you had in the past. Knowing they were decent simply cause of your content!
it cannot be understated how much of a dart hose the matrixfire is with that mag adapter kit. you will NEED a lipo, PMW, and a flywheel upgrade just to handle how many darts it launches a second.
The adapter is EXTREMELY drop-in as well; it literally uses the notches the hopper does, which means if you need to fall back on the hopper once you're out of mags, its simple as pulling off the adapter, and reattaching the hopper.
Cakescreativecustoms is a genius for how well that adapter fits. they also made a stock attachment point (which requires minimum screwing and unscrewing) as well.
We need to get more select-fire and full auto nerf blasters

100% agree, the regulator is still my 2nd favourite blaster ever, it's just too cool and unique
Just got myself a Fire Rat because Monkee Mods was still running a halloween promotion where you get 2 extra mags included, and wow. It's literally the perfect springer pistol. Honestly, as long as the FPS cap isn't too high it'll make for a great primary even. I also considered the DZP MK2.1, but having 4 more darts per magazine, slamfire, a slide lock and a slide return are all big reasons to opt for the rat instead.
fire rat is the most tactile blaster in the hobby for me, its just so satisfying
The dart zone pro mk2 is a really good buy at 70 dollars on Amazon

I would really like to see a comprehensive Stringer tier list. As best I can tell, NO Nerf content provider has really covered the Stringers in depth like that. New territory for a great video!
The 6-sh is my baby. I upgraded it with the nine shot Etsy kit and it's my favorite from this year. Heck, I'm waiting to get the metal Hammershot kit to put it into the blaster.
As a canadian seeing the tomcat selling for $7.49 at target while it's priced at over $100 in canada is infuriating.

Dear mister Walcom, i can't agree. The best blaster to buy for this crismas is the TASKQWIK Automatic blaster for just 21$ on amazon. It's full auto, AA battery powered, decent rate of fire (unlike something like the MK 3) and hits pretty hard out of the box (estimate 90-100 fps). It makes a stock stryfe look like a joke and it comes with rather very decent darts. For a decent 6 shot backup the x shot dino striker is the best low cost full lenght revolver .For short darts apart the tomcat with talon mod kit i would buy is the DZP MK 2.1. Mag fed high performance out of the box as well.

My wishlist is currently: Lynx, Dictator, Tomcat, Mk 2.1. I wanted the Deuce Pro when they first started showing it off, but I'm scared that they still haven't fixed the issues with it. I mean I could probably find a fix to make it work, but I hate that I'd have to fix a blaster issue of that type.
Just another advantage of the Tomcat: once you get the hang of it, it is very easy to short stroke and load two darts, giving you a shotgun option on the fly.
My absolute favourite 3 blasters are the Worker Swift, Worker Nightingale and the Colonel Wasp 76. Love them. Pretty much the only blasters i use.

I feel like the Nerf Rival Fate should be on this list too. For the same price as a Knockout, you get the same thing in a, in my opinion, more ergonomic package. In addition, the Fate can take the same upgrades as a Knockout. Short dart conversion and inline clip being the main ones. However, the Fate can take more. With just a bit more money, you can purchase parts from Franz Foam Works to make the blaster take 5 different ammo types. Mega, Mega XL, and Rival with just the barrel replacement, but also both short and full length darts with in the inline clip insert. And game wise, this upgrade has so much use. Some games may have Mega and/or Mega XL darts have special effects, so this barrel allows you to fire both with only 1 blaster. If nothing else, plinking around with Mega and Mega XL is just fun. With the inline clip inserts, you can have a decent blaster for short darts. Even on a stock spring, all of these ammo types get good range for a Nerf war and HvZ
I think the Fate is a clear upgrade to the Knockout. That's probably why I own 1 Knockout, and 4 Fates.

21:40 shellington's spring thunder is similar but uses SO MANY MORE TYPES OF SHELLS!! it can fit every single nerf dart except for hyper and ultra as far as i'm aware but there are probably after market shells that you can find. yes its 3d printed but it offers similar performance at a similar price point with soooo much more customizability

What about the Dart Zone Spectrum Value kit on Amazon? 45 bucks for the blaster and tacti-cool attachments, 5 magazines, and 50 chili darts! 5 magazines alone from dart zone is 30 bucks leaving 15 buck for the blaster and darts! 😳

Was able to get a Dart Zone Max Tomcat from Target for only $7.49 the other day. Looking forward to trying it out.
Buying an X-Shot skins Last Stand was probably one of my best decisions in my field of small nerf wars between friends. Reliable with decent range. The thing I like most is that it’s only 14 rounds. No need to spend 10 minutes loading up a forty round drum. (Sorry villainator, I love you. But not always the best pick) that’s especially good since I do a lot of them at friends’ houses where I don’t want lose 40 good darts. Solid pick for only 20 bucks I would say

For the deuce pro, you mentioned swapping out for a "pen spring" if thats what I heard correctly. There a specific one I should be on the lookout for?
I'm not much of a nerfer anymore but I would like a lot of these. A few of them are the Colonel Wasp Firefly, S200 Fire Rat, SHELLINGTON ARMS WINGCHESTER, NERF RIVAL SATURN and RANGER SERIES MEGA SNIPER. (Still trying to wrap my head around the fact we can fling a freaking mega dart at 200fps, absolutely crazy).

Hey Walcom! Great content as usual.. been patiently waiting for this one.. hehe Just wondering… is it still relevant/ worth buying an Adventure Force Spectrum and Villainator in 2022 as my first semi-auto and springer blasters?
Yes. The 40 round Villiantor is a great choice and the Spectrum has some love, but I still think if you're modding a Stryfe is a better choice because you have so many options.

One off brand nerf blaster I would recommend is the Lehui mg3 because it appears to look like a mg42 but it shoots short darts.
i dual wield a Shellstrike and a nerf HC-E for a local nerf stock war, those two pretty goofy but good
I heard some people got the tomcat for like 7 bucks because of a Mis-pricing during black Friday/cyber Monday
I don't have the room for a lot of blasters so I don't buy many. I DID just recently get my hands on a Rival Takedown blaster. I found it at Ollie's for like..13 bucks on Black Friday while I was there for something completely different but I remember hearing good things about it so I decided to just pop it in the basket anyway. Don't know if I'll mod it or not but It's nice to have..don't take up much space either compared to some other's I've bought in the past.
Not a lot of love for the Takedown. But it is one of my favorite blasters. It looks great, is fun to shoot, and with a K25 gets decent range without hurting the accuracy too much

I would like to point out that you may also be able to find Longstrikes on Ebay for cheaper. They'll probably be pre-owned you know.
Older longstrikes are available, but the Modulus LS is the only one with modern (i.e. direct plunger) internals.

I'm still too afraid to get into lipos. Plus, I live in a apartment and don't have a place like a garage or basement to store them if something does go wrong.
You store them in a lipo bag. And you can put that in a metal container like an Ammo Storage Box if you want.
