- I bought both these items so this is my honest opinion on them. Obviously the Survivor fire starter will cost more as you are getting more with it but here I only wanted to compare the magnesium part. You can buy both off Amazon:

magnesium burns fast but it burns hot. You place that in a tinder and you have a fire 80% of the time

Prepper Del Thanks Del. Don't get me wrong you can use the cheap block as I have but it nice to have other options and with a handle and the multi use of the survivor firestarter it's just easier to use.
Thats what i like about these types of videos and TAG videos. You get to see other options out there and how people review and rate.Whats good for you is always good for everyone else.
Thought about adding magnesium but just haven't yet.

PrioritySurvival I have the 37 and the 51. Awesome knives I piggy back my 51 with a mora once.
Definitely awesome knives. You cannot beat Schrade or Mora for the price!
