    Unbelievable progress and focus✨
    Day 1 and Ken was able to walk unassisted within 20min of practice 😱 This is the first time we have seen an above knee amputee adapt so quickly to walking with a prosthesis 🤩

    Gr8 walking ,amazing in 20m,in a microprocessor knee.I would love to see him walking unassisted like this in a mechanical knee.because majority of Aka,start of on a mechanical knee,during initial gait training.

    Maybe 20 min. in a new leg, but not the first go. His socket already has the flexible insert and a window.

    Bullshit! Why does it take most people 6 months working 3 to 4 days per week to achieve this standard of competency? Are you trying to sell something here? Should be honest and not give people false hope!

    • @prostheticsinmotion
      @prostheticsinmotion  5 років тому +4

      We would never lie or exaggerate about someones ability to walk. This young man adapted exceptionally well to his prosthesis due to his strength, balance and good fitting socket. We do not aim to give people false hope, only hope.
