Cloud, I’ve noticed recently players have just suddenly been playing like coke fiends mashing buttons and playing neutral as if their lives depend on getting as many stray hits as possible, your chat is right this games sucks now and it’s so sad it was so good at one pointing making it so addicting and hard to drop, I think all of the good players are dropping the game. No evo than what’s the point :/
You can legit hop on, play for 3 hours, and straight up not get a single clean match the entire time against an opponent using their brain
Exactly!!! Not a single match this week has been fun for me. Either I kick their ass with little to no effort... or I frustratingly get caught up in random bullshit.
There is no point in trying anything creative or tricky... because they will just mash anyways...

I respect your opinion and I’m probably considered a masher but, I only play arcade. My desire to play is based on my love for dragon ball and not because of any delusional dreams of becoming a top tier gamer.
@Athlete1990 Don't worry, he wasn't talking about you. He means the individuals in ranked matches who mash or abuse brain-dead moves and assists at a very high rank.
I'm 3 ranks away from the top and most of my matches are against opponents who feel like they don't even know how to play the game.
So as a competitive player... in a competitive game mode... I would expect competitive play, but that's not what we get anymore.

I feel much better seeing my recent experiences validated in this video and the comments.
Recently almost every opponent feels like they are just mashing with no regard for anything else but stray hits.
It hasn't been as fun lately... matches are either a one-sided sweep... or a frustrating match of bullshit shenanigans.
Haven't had a legit competitive set in a bit. I'm only Ultra Instinct Sign, but I still feel the difference.

Auto combos wouldn't be as bad if they just removed the auto correct. Being able to actually avoid them would be nice. People are also a lot more aggressive than they used to be, imo.
It's funny how mashing is less effective in rollback yet I've only seen an increase of people mashing with no reason to do so.

There are some specific things I hate about this game. I'm sure I'm not alone, so say them with me now.
-Blueku teleport elbow.
-Gogeta4 third hit in autocombo.
-Tien level 3 when he's the last character.
-Waiting for Vejito's combo to end.
-Hit's counter.
-Waiting for your turn during Teen Gohan combo.
-Now something a little less obvious... your opponent can cancel literally anything into down+heavy to catch your superdash, but you can't???
Sometimes i think about picking this game up again. But then i see a video like this. And it reminds me my peace is more important. Thank you Cloud.

I have Power Rangers Battle for the Grid. Good thing everybody has round start T.O.D's. Bad thing everybody has round start T.O.D's. So it's who ever gets the 1st hit, and don't drop the combo. Other than that O.K game. There are better options.
This video is the perfect reason to quit Dragonball and become play LITERALLY anything else. I wouldn’t be surprised if cloud quit Dragonball and played another game, this shit isn’t it. I quit this game almost 2 months ago and started playing street fighter 6, best decision I ever made.
As a long time player it is sad to see that new players can come and not actually learn the game but just mash their face into the controller. I’ve seen so many people in higher ranks that clearly don’t belong there skill wise but just do random buttons with all c assist and it pays off in the long run. Also feel like if you have a terrible win/loss ratio it should be harder to rank up until it gets better.
Unless most of the braindead shit like superdash, auto combo, and assists are nerfed into the ground. This game is dying within the next year.

Cloud can u use ginyu next vid there is a combo i want you to do that has some tech that i created. When u 214h and then do guldo's 236s and run up and do 5h, it knocks the opponent into guldos attack
