  • Welcome to this walking tour of Benalmadena, Costa del Sol, Malaga. Today we visit the city center and take a tour of the main avenue and a couple of adjacent streets.
We start at the train station Arroyo de la Miel, in Plaza de la Plaza Iglesia and make our way west, on Avenue de la Constitucion, through Plaza Austria until we reach the roundabout. We turn right on Avenue Federico Garica Lorca towards Mercadona.
We walk on a side street and take in the vibe of Benalmadena. Then we make our way back to the train station through Avenida Blas Infante. And we then take a walk on the other side of Avenida de la Constitucion, where we can admire all the shops and restaurants. And come back to Plaza de la Plaza Iglesia.
The more I visit Benalmadena, the more I enjoy it. I stayed there for a couple of weeks in 2020, and the vibe is very relaxed, tranquil, a pleasure to just disconnect and forget all your problems.
If you plan on visiting Malaga and Costa del Sol, in Andalusia, then definitely visit Benalmadena. Its beaches are one of the best ones, the paseo Maritimo is a pleasure to walk on.
You can actually check out the walking tour of Benalmadena Paseo Maritimo here:
    Thanks for watching 👀

So far this year (2024), I have been lucky enough to have holidayed in Arroyo (Benalmadena) three times. I was more that likely to have been out there when this video was made. To my mind it is probably the best place to holiday on the Costas. It is central, between Malaga and Fuengirola. The Airport is a 20 minute train journey, and they run every 20 mins. The beach is a twenty minute downhill walk away (a bit longer to walk back up).It has plenty of great bars, and eateries. None of which could be described as expensive. If you want extra then not too far to Bonanza Square, or the Marina. The Pueblo is a 15 minute bus ride away. (Public transport is very cheap in Spain). Just look at hat beautiful blue sky, and how clean the footpaths are. A great place for older people, relaxed, welcoming, and very safe. Lovely video. Thanks to whoever made it.
