Yes, it will be part of batocera 40. It is already included of the batocera 40 beta builds. ZeDMD gets connected via USB. ZeDMD is a simply DIY DMD using an ESP32: github.com/PPUC/ZeDMD

Is that a 128 x 256 pixel? I have the big size panels but all my images show small as if its 64 x 128. Any clues?
Is it possible to get it working on batocera 39? and if so how would i go about doing that?
No, batocera 40 has so many improvements regarding DMDs, you should upgrade.
