Whew, how to unpack this. #1 Stop using the crying Kyle picture as your clickbait thumbnail. I know you are trying to paint the narrative that he's acting, but the dude has legitimate PTSD from a horrific event that he's been forced to re-live over and over again. #2 The cropping of the cross-examination by Binger while Kyle was on the stand. No mention of the 5th amendment violation, the Call of Duty question, the hour of "well you didn't put out any big fires so you are a make-pretend firefighter". Binger was the star of that show and you cut the footage right as the Janine was talking about how "well rehearsed" Kyle was, but the real story is how poorly the prosecutor made his case. #3 Her prognosis that people are going to start shooting peaceful protestors all the time is far from reality. Look at the video added @ 2:12. You can see a very peaceful situation until someone throws a heavy black object right at the heads of the armed men standing guard at the gas station. Then you cut to the scary guns. But my eyes must be lying to me, because the guys with legal and visible firearms protecting the peace where the police wont are the problem. Please be honest. Admit that burning cities to the ground is civil discourse but defending yourself against roving bands of thieves is immoral. BLM has a noble cause and goal but when you give these mobs an inch, people get hurt and/or killed. Nothing about the elderly man nearly beaten to death that night, burning buildings and trying to lock people inside, people getting ran over by fleeing looters, families paying ransoms to not have their homes destroyed, felons running around shooting "fireworks" into the air. These "night parades" were long gone from being about black lives, it's literally a bunch of loser anarchists in cities that use black lives as political pawns.
Using that picture of an innocent man breaking down is a pathetic attempt to humiliate him. The fact that the media does that is embarrassing. It is something a 4th grader would do for a laugh.
Actually, innocent people get sent to prison all the time for accidentally giving testimonies that don't line up. Even if you want to believe that the group harboring literal felons and arsonists is the good group, they still have no legal authority or obligation to chase after, assault, and attempt to disarm someone else that they claim is a threat (if he was the threat why was he running AWAY from those chasing HIM). Even with the most impressive of mental gymnastics that would still make them vigilantes taking the law into their own hands rather than simply allowing police officers who were WITHIN VIEWING DISTANCE to apprehend the man running TOWARDS them. Not to mention the actual criminals (the ones that were justifiably shot in the name of self-defense) had ALL of the same rights... well except the right to carry a firearm, given they were... y'know... felons. @@MrMightyMido I'm personally a Democrat (always have voted as such, though I'm getting really tired of the psychosis pervading certain percentages of the party). and yeah, there are some absolutely batsh*t people representing both political parties. guns cause huge emotional responses, so it is always dangerous to have that stuff around. I know my adrenaline personally starts to pump a little bit just being in the vicinity of someone with a gun (since I lose a sense of control of the situation, knowing they could do something with that gun to me and I'd have a lot of trouble stopping them - puts me on edge), so honestly I'd prefer it if it was concealed in general (when possible). guns are dangerous as hell (obviously). haha But I'm also 6'4" and 250lbs and recognize that, for example, that the majority of people are at danger of violence from anyone my size with essentially no recourse, so I believe that people should have the right to have a gun/weapon. I can't imagine a 100 pound, 5'0" woman really *ever* feels safe (or really, the majority of women, very small men, older adults, etc. - except when they're not thinking about it or are in a locked/alarmed house), so if something can make them feel that way, I'm all for it and, more importantly, if there is something that *will* keep them safe if their life is threatened, I'm all for that. It's a tough problem to solve, I personally think. and for sure there are inconsistencies (for example, ability to have a handgun vs ar-15, as you mention, definitely a weird law haha - though a handgun is more concealable, so there is some sense to it at least - the person can get to a target/victim without being recognized immediately in that case). a very tough problem and a lot of irregularities. I think the most important thing that can be done is to just work toward getting people to hate each other less. It is hate, fear, anger, etc. that leads to violence.
Anyone watching the film from when chase is given for the kid, all the way to when he’s able to walk to the police line will see that his well being was in danger.

I know my adrenaline personally starts to pump a little bit just being in the vicinity of someone with a gun (since I lose a sense of control of the situation, knowing they could do something with that gun to me and I'd have a lot of trouble stopping them - puts me on edge), so honestly I'd prefer it if it was concealed in general (when possible). guns are dangerous as hell (obviously). haha
But I'm also 6'4" and 250lbs and recognize that, for example, that the majority of people are at danger of violence from anyone my size with essentially no recourse, so I believe that people should have the right to have a gun/weapon.
