Although Uruguay was exceptionally well in midfield and defence...they weren’t as effective in attacking. I thought they would come up with a strategy for Cavani’s absence yet they couldn’t. They relied highly on set pieces and couldn’t convert their chances to goals.. And I won’t blame Mulsera for anything..mistakes happen, he has been great the whole tournament, 1 bad mistake wouldn’t change that (likewise to Kahn in 2002). The better team won but had Cavani played, things might’ve been different..
