The first story makes me glad I’m too old to have been looking for a job when Linkedin was around. Heck, I’m 40, so I can remember calling ads from the classifieds from the physical newspaper back in 2005. Not that there weren’t shady job interviews back then, but these days it’s a lot easier for scammers and criminals to lure people into traps with modern job networking sites. Glad to hear that storyteller got away safely.

I wouldn't blame them if they were getting desperate and jumped into something sketchy in the process (been struggling with discouragement/desperation while job hunting myself, and still have been looking for a job for a while now)... -_-

I started watching Mr Nightmare in my first year of Middle School with the Original Lockdown Stories, now I'm finishing up my first year of college still watching his videos. In story 3, how the hell would this drunk idiot know that it wasn't a cop? I don't see any reason why a cop, or even a security guard, wouldn't check an abandoned building, especially when a bunch of drunk college kids are running about willy-nilly. The only thing I get out of these heard, but didn't see, or saw, but didn't understand stories is that whoever is telling this story still hasn't experienced the real world.

If the person was a security guard, why not yell that and say he is calling the police after he locked her in?? And why unlocking the first door and lock the second door if she was already trapped by the first door??
I wish that more people would file reports to the police when sketchy things happen like in the first one. It could really save a life.
If they're making up a story, it creates extra details they have to create and more potential plot holes.
You never know; they might have. Maybe they just wanted to wrap up the story and forgot to mention it. I always assume they did call the police, but since the police can rarely do anything in cases like these, it doesn’t really matter

The first story expresses what REAL FEAR can do. He thought of going one way, but his brain and body were ahead of him - defying rationality, they made the decision that may have saved his life. Basically, it's stuff that he KNEW but trying to be too logical, he would have made the wrong decision (probably - don't know what was down the other road) but SOMETHING in him knew to go the other way. Also, being able to do a physical task he didn't know he could do is the other way allowing real fear (not anxiety, worry or fear that's put in you by external information) can do for you.

I hate fraternities. Then again, I have no social life. My education comes first to me. Yes I’m a nerd. But I’ve also had a really fucked up life and have done some stupid shit too. The path mental health issues will lead you down can get pretty dark. College has been a lonely experience for me.

I did that before, I emailed a company and asked if they were hiring because I got a message from one of their supposed “recruiters”. And they emailed me back and said no, they’re not hiring and that wasn’t them. Always double triple quadruple check and do your research!
