Awe I love that you still respect your mom's suggestions during your shopping trip. When I went through breast cancer my husband was my hero supporter, in remission I still remember him turning a song on in our vehicle from the Dr's called Johnny without June 😢 💔 and he said with tears while holding my hand this would be me. My husband always says happy endings don't write themselves. We had it on a banner at our reception and I'm going to surprise him with a charcoal Johnny and June Carter Cash portrait and my daughter who's a graphic designer and artist is doing it. I'm hanging it above our bed forever. Just take your time sweetheart and make your house yours and fill it with memories.

For the woods table you need to condition the wood then sand it then stain it that way the stain is absorbed properly as well as not splotchy and it’s and even amazing color ❤ wood conditioner is literally like a stain but definitely worth the hassle before staining

Fun fact in the olden days people used to have little holes in the back of their bathroom mirror cabinets where they would throw their old used razor blades into and they’d just be in the hole in the wall behind the mirror

Good move with the snowblower lol I highly recommend parking your cars in the garage once it’s cleared, at least when it snows so you don’t have to clean off your car and it’s easier for snow blowing 😂

I needed a bigger utensil jar and couldn’t find one I really like but I had a huge candle jar that I loved so I ended up cleaning it and using that when the candle was gone.
Would you ever have a wall and door put in to close off Zane’s office from the basement?

In my (unsolicited) opinion, I think one of the white art pieces should go above your headboard on the plank wall. It would really pop there because of the color contrast.
