I would like the copyright for Victory In Jesus. I am one of the original authors. The other author was a friend of my father, Gary Atkinson. Gary wrote the first two verses in Spanish and I wrote the third and fourth verses in Flemish. The song was translated into English by my mother. The song was taken to the Nazarene Publishing House. Phineas F. Brazee agreed to publish the song on the condition that the second verse about the Baptism of the Holy Spirit was left out. Gary Atkinson and I introduced the second verse in Spanish on a mission trip to Guadalajara in the summer of 1972. It is sung throughout Latin America.
