I love your Videos. I used to live in Pacific Beach 25 years ago. In York Ct. to be precise. I rode my Bicycle on the Beach Walk every day. Because of you, those beautiful memories are brought back.
Great video. I lived in Pacific Beach in the 80's, what an incredible time of life it was. I wrote my name in fresh pavement on Mission Blvd a few blocks north of Grand, over 30 years later it's still there, I always go look at it every time I visit PB. amazing how time flies

Jessica A wow, would love to travel there someday. I myself live in sweden and to be honest, the weather cannot be trusted. What I mean by that is that the weather changes everyday, example: today was a sunny day and tomorrow's going to be a rainy day. Hopefully I'll be able to travel to a country with a stable weather some day and california is currently in my number 1 spot haha. (it is not just about weather though but still)

@@tristan864 I lived in SD years ago and lived in many other towns/cities. SD is far better than a lot of places. If you don't think it's great, where is your favorite place to visit or live?
I lived 2 blocks away, my kids grew up on this beach and Corona del Mar, my youngest daughter was born right on Laguna beach, well there's a hospital overlooking the ocean there. Thanks for these I'm far away now and miss it so much.

I've been to this beach many times. Have been considering going back next month because i love it so much, I live in Michigan and the winters are depressing and gray. When you walked out onto that pier and looked left with the sun shining on the ocean (47:18), I was convinced. I'm going back for sure...even of it's only for a few days!

Good job !! I lived a few miles North of PB until 1992, and would sometimes jog on that boardwalk. It looks pretty much the same now. San Diego is a fine place, indeed !!

Beautiful !! The beaches are quiet with hardly any crowd unlike the ones around LA..
It is because it is probably the middle of the week in December. It can get very crowded during weekends and summers, but that is when it is most fun.

I lived on Garnet PB and would walk to the beach.......46 years ago. Things have really changed. Except the water looks the same.
Coming to San Diego for the first time from KC. Staying at the Ocean Park Inn.
Me and a bunch of other Navy guys used to hangout on that boardwalk near thae lifeguard station and drink beer and watch girls go by, it was summer and there were alot more people than in this vid. this looks like winter.

Havent been there in a few years and it looks like the city cleaned up the boardwalk along beach. Wait a minute, this is the north side of beach, lol. it s the south side by old roller coaster that is littered.

Rational Thinker Daytime on a weekday in an expensive city. People actually have to work to live there. 😉 And locals are so used to having the beach there many rarely go anyway.
Looks like mid morning on a weekday in the winter. Summers are a lot different.
You can't drink on the beach anymore, because of the drunken parties but the bar owners are happy.

" Bumm Treatment " !! Lot's of bums live on the Boardwalk, see-um every day ! Sometimes I toss-um a bru-or-2 to sweep my walkway !!
Lived on Jersey St. just off the beach in 1967-68. in a little 3 room bug infested bungalow with 4 gay guys. Booze, party & sex; wild times. The whole neighborhood was hippie. All gone now replaced with gentrified $. Favorite hang-out was the Circus Room bar across from the amusement part (Forgot its name). Rose, the bartender was everybodys best friend & confidant to the lovelorn. This video brings back great memories of 55 years ago.
