I do not trust the short bolts stuck into the concrete. I used 9" all thread into a base then, I welded them to another plate which I buried 6" below the concrete surface. The threads stick out 2-3 inches above the concrete and I double nutted the mast -one above and one below so that I could LEVEL the mast. THis is how street light poles are done in this area, I have no issues with my mast moving!! ENJOY.
I suggest that all the panels be mounter BEFORE installing the sunlight sensor. One less thing in your way. MOUNT ACTUATORS WITH THE MOTOR ON TOP, WATER GETS PAST THE SEAL OTHERWISE. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL PREVIOUS FAILURES DUE TO WATER. i HAD ALSO TRIED DRILLING WEEP HOLES AND THAT DID NOT ASSIST THE ISSUE. wOODY

And can I install on this support 2 or 3 photovoltaic panels each measuring 2000 x 1150 mm for 27 kgs (i.e. 78.74 x 45.27 inches for 59.52 lbs)? I have added tennis balls to the struts at the end of the panels to protect my head, they protrude and are sharp. I also used the white triangles that the panels were shipped with to glue to the corners of the panels so that you cant hit the corners of the panels. They are at head height and moving up and down now and then, baby proofing the array only saves you a trip to the ER. I found that the E W actuator had to be reversed to work correctly and the solar sensor had to have the cable come out the SOUTHERN side of the array, in contrast to the video, just saying. My controller is mounted to horizontal to read it easily inside a gasketed box, to avoid any weather issues and allow easy setting and reading, enjoy Woody N4MQ

I’ve got it pretty much assembled but one major question… for the life of me I can’t seem to figure this out. Should the main post stickers be facing the direction or away? Like mine is oriented so that the sticker that says south is pointing south. So the south sticker is behind me looking south. Does that make sense? Or should I be reading the compass looking through the post.
Perfect I think mines right! Wish I could attach a pic to my comment. I drilled my expansion bolts so if I did need to switch it wouldn’t be devastating.

@woodyw6933 I am with you on this. It is a ridiculous way to do it. He obviously is not that great with construction.
Did you set to true North instead of magnate North???

The short actuator must be mounted on South side (p.11 in the manual).
The manual on this thing sucks.

So i got one of these, but the top mouts are just TO SMALL for my 6 panels... I was only able to fit 3 =(

Once you get it all together, you will know the right direction
