I've seen people use a gallon tin can in lieu of a tin...even more economical. They used these as centerpieces at my parents assisted living Christmas dinner a few years back.
Oh thank you for the butterfly. That same colored butterfly hung around my sisters house the day she passed away, July 7th, 5 yrs ago. Plus I was on my car when I left her house. Absolutely love the big snowman’s 🎩. I have not thought to grab the lil patriotic hats to use at Christmas. Everything you did was so beautiful.😊❤

The snowman hat could be used all year. It looks like a vintage hat. I love it.
It could also be made into an Easter bonnet.
