It maybe not done by late Kevin Conroy but I think Roger Craig Smith has done really good job to emulate the young and aggressive Batman
From what I remember, people didn't like this because it came off the heels of Arkham City, and didn't have Kevin Conroy (RIP) and Mark Hamill as Batman and the Joker. But also it was NOTORIOUSLY buggy at launch. It's a shame, because I think it's underrated too.
The game is fire now, at least on PC
It has more issues but i think that is most of them
Oh, there were a few other things. Some people felt it didn't improve on the Arkham City's game play like City had on Asylum. Some others felt the Electrocutioner's gloves made it too easy, didn't like that Joker was the main villain again, felt the map was too similar to City, multi-player was unnecessary, others wanted to see more of the assassins, and a few other relatively small gripes. I didn't get the game until a couple of months after it came out, and I have never had a bad experience playing it. It is my personal favourite of the series and besides agreeing that it was annoying for Joker to steal the main villain role again, I don't really have any personal complaints.
I found the voices pretty alright, it just feels like their more younger, just in their beginning, especially with Batman his voice reminds me of The Batman 2004 - 2008 as a young batman, and joker just being younger in general.
I kinda feel like it's an Arkham Batman fanbase thing to hate games on launch only to change their mind later

I really love this game because its more comic accurate in a way and batman isn’t un stoppable. Also bane is smaller because he doesn’t have tn -l in him yet but he still has the venom.
This game is my favorite out of the 4. Trust me all of them are masterpieces in their own right. I love all of them, but this one’s story, characters, cinematography and boss fights do it all for me.
It’s so cinematic, like it can be a full-on film, imagine?! Plus it’s got one of the best DLCs “Cold, Cold Heart”.
A lot of the characters have their best portrayals here in my opinion, especially BANE as the mastermind he’s supposed to be. I love how we actually get to finally see how BRUTAL Batman was in his younger years. And don’t hate on me, but damn I kinda like this portrayal of Joker a bit more. Don’t get me wrong, Hamil’s is *chef’s kiss* but his character is portrayed more “comically” even in the way he dresses. I honestly like this more realistic & creepy portrayal of Joker from Baker, even in the way he’s dressed.
The fights are also *mwah* Deathstroke, Copperhead’s mind trip, Mad Hatter’s Wonderland, the Bane fights (that rooftop news sequence was so unique), Firefly’s…just wow.
I can gush about this game forever omg so good.

Currently I would still give story to Arkham city, but with origins Ive been having a better experience overall. bosses are better, gadgets are better, and character portrayals are better than city IMO

The main reason it was hated was because it wasn't a big leap, like the previous games. So people thought it was a letdown at first. It also wasn't made by Rocksteady and had a bunch of glitiches. This added fuel to the fire. But they didn't have time to perfect this game. It had the same time in development as Asylum had.

Barber of Seville. It is from a comedic opera of the same name. Also known as The Useless Precaution. It is considered one of the best comedic operas. And as you pointed out, it has been used in several other media such as Looney Tunes (Rabbit of Sevill) where Bugs Bunny plants seeds on Elmer Fudd's head.

I love this game, it grew on me. I think you're right, because it didn't have Keven Conroy, it took away some of what we like about the other Arkham games but everything else is on point. The story and game play are awesome, especially the double take down.

Hot take, but after watching gotham paladins video, i have to agree that this game truly has the best story. Because instead of it being one of those cliche story lines of superhero origins, this game doesnt do that, instead if focuses on how Batman who currently thinks he can do everything alone, realises that he will always need help, and so accepts allies

The reason why its reccomended to play origins then asylum,knight etc is because this a year 2 batman pretty much where this is batmans 2nd year at being batman and in each game he actually gets older and the villains hint it too ik i sound likea neerdd but i fr love batman to the people who read all this have a cookie🍪🙏

Arkham Origins was so good though! Everybody did great in their roles.
They didn't like cause it wasn't Rocksteady. And that's BS. The boss fights were all brilliant, the cutscenes were insane, hell even the plot wasn't half bad.
I liked Origins. The only problem I have with the game are the bugs. The boss fight with Firefly was amazing.

I actually love origins plus some of the skins in the game are nice and the story is nice but I did not play it I saw it through UA-cam and the bane boss amazing 🤩
This game has the best Boss fights in the entire series, detective mode also improved a lot.
While its good, I think the issues are pretty clear.
Gotham city is bland af, making traversal confusing as i had to constantly checking maps every mission updates. Bugs are still present, even to this day. I had Batman floating to the wall when Bane punches him in final fight lmao, there are times when doors refuse to open at all.
Its a great game but the lack of polish and repetitive snowy buildings make the game a huge step down in comparison to Arkham City.

Arkham Origins was never bad. It was just as fun as Arkham City imo. Only issue I ever experienced was lag. I'd even say these might be the best boss fights of the series.
The map was just tiny.
Troy Baker did a fantastic Joker, and Roger Craig Smith did a fantastic Batman. Not as good as Mark Hamil and Kevin Conroy, but I think Troy and Roger can spearhead the new generation
