I bought this video from Radio shack back about 87 or 88. And i was mesmorized by it. The whole album was on a vcr tape. Every single song had beautiful videos to it. But Sculptures and Eagles path made you fly. David also did one for the mountains and forest as well. It was just as beautiful😉
Yessir, Radio Shack sold tons of the VHS tapes of this album and Natural States. There was also a chain called the Nature Company and they sold well there, too. Thanks for taking the time to comment, Pierre. 🎸🤩🎼
@@PaulSpeerMusic sir it is s pleasure to receive a response from you. You are a very equal part of this music that has captivated me. Listening yo this music still grabs me as the first time. Thank you for your response. Pierre😁
I know im throwing this off but there is a song that i liked a lot from the ending credits from the Kirstie alley movie called Sibling rivalry. The name is Just a little loving. Does anybody know if you tube has it at all. One of those songs that grab me. I, believe the artist name is Estelle Reiner. Neen looking for it but doesn't come up.😒
My late mother used to watch this video every night after work, while eating dinner. Brings back great memories!! We are from El Paso, so Carlsbad Caverns and White Sands and even the Arizona saguaros are right in our backyard. Great music that really adds a lot & that never gets old...
Kinda has that america indian sound to it great sound track for Monument Valley UT and AZ. Been there. Had this song with the rest of the album on tape and listened to it in my 18 wheeler for 10 years. Goes well in the western US for a second track
I will always consider this as the fore-runner to all music DVD's This album has always been my favorite. Especially after being to some of these places.... you can feel it there!!!!!
Reminds me od a spot just outside of Red Rocks Park, Denver... Just off 285.. A formation of BEARS in the rock... Also a den for RATTLESNAKES! I' d cycle up there, with my camera and dulcimer.... OPEN when there was no activities.. Great acoustics.. Ran into Stephen Stills there, one afternoon He was down on his old Peugeot... An old guitar from the guard hut... Memories of running track for Plant High, Tampa... Corvette full of guitars... on Dale Mabry Ave... Dog 'N Suds.... Arby's... My cousin ran for Hillsborough High... A Red MGB... Autocrosses at USF.... Good Vibes! Then Steve took off for CA.... Became famous.... You never can tell...
Thanks, Dave. That is Richard Warner on sax and he played parts on many tracks for us. A lot of flute, too. Richard is a successful recording artist in his own right. Sorry to hear about your house.
Yes thanks x with a nice garden for my husky "bob". It's not home but better that switching to the dark side. That's where yodelling helps. Ever tried it ?
One of my all time favorite albums. I explored the Desert Southwest in a Suburban with a license that said DESERTC, always with this, or similar music playing in the background.
Hey thanks. Funny thing... I didn't explore places like this until after we made this album. I drove around with DV playing in the car and I gotta say, it worked pretty well as a soundtrack.
Funny thing A few beats reminds me of a certain Grateful dead riff... in Casey Jones... Fine! In the best Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan Tradition... Conscious or not.. Thunder, Lightning, Terrific! As Kathy used to say... (-8D
Er.... NOT their Casey Jones song... The "related" "Coke" song... Just a few beats before they say that word... Maybe my mind works in strange ways... (-8D Blown!
Paul i love this album track too and the rest of the album along with Natural States. Plz can you tell me which Synthesizer you used on Sculptures for that atmospheric Ethereal sound? 😁

Cheers I lost everything , my studio and thirty years worth of recordings hurt the most I've a bit of material backed up on sound cloud (user147226781) if you fancy a listen it's all written, performed and recorded on an iPad my last project was called and went under the heading ONE TRU FINGHA it sounds Celtic ❤️best regards Dave 😎

Pleasant n beyond no more said let it play on forever
Paul Speer is one of the best guitarists out there. The tone of guitar sedates me along with the other instruments on the recording.
Thanks, Michael. 🎸

@@PaulSpeerMusic Am I correct that on this track I hear a tin whistle or penny whistle?
@@dltguitar6532 That is a recorder played by Deuter. He played on several tracks on this album and Natural States.
