This is your challenge to do the way that works best for your family. Others may do it differently, but you still have to make your money work in the best way you can. Im sure you will do brilliantly,I will look forward to watching your upcoming videos 🤩
I enjoy watching your videos and I shop at Sainsbury’s too and have noticed some things are still creeping up and up. Some things are on Nectar price which I try to make the most of but then my grocery cost is higher! I think you’re doing really well and I’ll keep watching so I can pick up some tips! 😊
I’m glad to see that you’re doing what works best for you and your son. The grocery haul was intentional with what you’ve been able to match to your food inventory. Good luck with staying within your budget. I think buying the pre-cut fries would work best for my family too, since time is money. ❤
@BonnieStephens-i5u thank you 😊 Evey family is different and needs to do what is right for them. I think I could have been better with my groceries haul but I'm learning and will keep trying 🙂
I would just like to say this that all tips and budgets save it tips from any UA-camr’s are not set in gold they just tell us there side of there story and everyone has something to offer so please all you great people who have the balls to put yourself out they keep doing your great stuff .xx
I think people offered advice happily. However some may indeed feel that it was a waste of their time as you appear to be just doing what you want anyway. So some viewers may feel it was a waste of their time so maybe you should have just altered your eating and shopping habits without drawing attention to it. I really hope you dont lose subscribers px
@paulamartin6049 everyone is entitled to their opinion. For me, it is still a challenge to try saving money, but I need to be realistic. Everything is so expensive. Looking at my start, I know I made mistakes, but I still posted those mistakes. I'm learning how to save more. I never said I was going to change drastically as I want to eat healthy and I buy everything from my groceries budget. I know some people doing drastic challenges such eating for £1 a day but that's not healthy or sustainable. I'm doing a challenge my own way. Hopefully I'll inspire someone
@@diaryofmyfrugallife u r exactly right when we need to save a bit and spread the cist how we do ut is a personal choice for example i love expensive chocolate so thats the first thing i reduce i dont cook with it and limit the amount u eat and you know i value every single morsel when i know its being rationed i also reduce my fresh fruit if not in season and replace it with frozen. I do what i can accept and live with just like yourself. I think u will do just fine with this challenge and u will learn a lot . Looking forward to watching now to get on px
@butterflyj1967 pet food has a separate budget because I order online in bulk for the month. I prefer to pay my groceries together so it's easier if my budget includes everything I buy in the supermarket. For me it makes sense
@@diaryofmyfrugallife Yes each to their own I guess. It's hard to stick to a budget at all nowadays eh. My son's food costs more than mine and our cat's stuff costs more than ours! 😁

Why not have pet stuff and household products in a separate budget and just do £100 for food?
