I'm enjoying this series and almost your tips, so thank you! The most cost effective way I've found to figure out which layout works best for me was creating simple bullet journal spreads based on all the expensive planner brand layouts. I spent $10 and a little time over several months and figured it out. I just couldn't afford to figure out my style in several different planners. My style, basically, adapts to whatever I need that day or week.
This was really cool to see another stay at home mom use an hourly. Up until now I always thought an hourly wouldn’t work for me because 90% of my life is unscheduled. I also have 5 children and love planners so I’m loving all your videos.
Oh how cool that you have five kiddos too! I’m glad my videos are inspiring, there are just too many good ways to use a planner I have to share them all 😆
I use an Erin Condren hourly as a stay at home mom and I love it. Sometimes I use the hours and sometimes I don't, but I like having them as an option. Thanks for making this video!
Well I never! Those were my first thoughts on hourly planning. BUT! After watching your video, and seeing that you didn't fill up every single hour of the day, you used the day on the page Phoenix Journal, I can see the benefit. Totally though this was anti-ME type of planning. This is life changing IF I get something like this. The fact that you put Nap down gave me hope that this may work if I tried it.
I've just started my first job as well as college this week so I was really looking for some way to plan things out and track them, this helped so much!!
Great video. I never thought I needed an hourly planner but now I see the value of having it and how it could be more effective than the wo2p they I use now. Love this series. Please keep making more videos. I’m hoping that they will get me to be a planner instead of a winger:)
Great info, ty for sharing. The Phoenix Journal uses two formats. Sunday is the most important day to set up as you make sure you hit 4 key items that week. Daily you set up tasks to make sure those 4 targets are hit. The "tasks" are daily to do lists (how I use it anyway). This type of work has changed my life. Ty again
At the end of 3 months it should match up with the impossible goals you set up in the beginning. It took me about 3 full books to finally get this down. My life has gone from barely able to get out of my police car to passing grueling SWAT school, losing 40+ lbs, a growing business and a marriage that was nearly over to the greatest relationship I ever had. Simply from using this journal in a challenge based lifestyle
I just bought the Phoenix planner so hype to get started with this new year and a new start!!! Thanks Annie for sharing and exposing me to new things 😁😇
Great video! I am trying to add in the usage of an hourly layout for therapy appts and at home therapy exercises on top of all my other tasks, but cannot find one that fits my TN or ringbound planners with a 6am to 10 pm format. Any suggestions? Thanks, I love your channel content!
Thank you so much! I’d contact a shop owner and request custom times if you can’t find the hours you need. I’m not aware of any off the top of my head. You could also ask in a couple of groups, maybe someone has used some and can steer you towards a shop?
The black covered one is a travelers notebook from The Foxy Fix (I think the shop no longer exists though), the large hourly planner is from Erin Condren ☺️
Your tips are so wise and practical. I love it! It helps me a lot. BTW, raising 5 children itself is a hard work especially when they are so young....I have four, but they are all teenagers. Thank you so much for sharing your gift in spite of your busy schedules. I appreciate that so much. May God bless you and your family ( ◠‿◠ )
The same concepts should still apply though, right? Your layout just has more room to write. My guess is that the concepts should still work if you want to use any of the ideas ☺️
I just bought an hourly layout after using a vertical layout for years! I found this video so creative and helpful…thank you for sharing. 💜
Glad it was helpful!

*and also your tips 😂
Hehe I understood 😆
It’s the perfect way to “try before you buy”, that’s for sure. Thanks for sharing!!!
I looked through so many videos!
Yours is the only one that made sense ⭐
Thank you so much ☺️

You can purchase a Recollections hourly planner (almost identical to the Erin Condren ) from your local Michaels $20.
Very true! I forgot about those; thanks for sharing.
i guess I'm kinda off topic but do anyone know a good place to watch new tv shows online ?
@Jadiel Fox i would suggest FlixZone. Just google for it =)
@Emmitt Sutton Definitely, I have been watching on FlixZone for months myself :)
@Emmitt Sutton thanks, I signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :) Appreciate it!!

Hehe, gotta include those naps for the kids ☺️
Thank you for doing this video. I am rethinking my planner setup, and had not thought about using a hourly.
The hourly is such a great layout!
Hourly is such a great format, I hope it’s the perfect fit for you ☺️
I've just started my first job as well as college this week so I was really looking for some way to plan things out and track them, this helped so much!!

Oh wow, that’s a great system. Thanks for sharing!

I know Im babbling. I am so passionate about the Phoenix Journal. Its not just a planner/Scheduling tool. Its much more than that
I’m loving this series! I’ve actually been thinking about getting an hourly planner. :)
Hopefully this video helped you decide a little easier ☺️
I use an hourly and I love it! It’s my happy place, and I have it as an insert in my TN.
Very nice! It’s such a great layout ❤️❤️❤️
What inserts do you use?
I have a customer insert from Creative Tidbits. There are pictures on my Instagram @planalltheshit
Ahhh!!! You had me sold on the planner perfect method but after seeing this one I’m like exactlyyyy I need hourly!! Haha
Hahaha, I used to use the hourly layout a lot. I haven’t for several months though 😆
thank you for your video, and I have to say that I LOVE your nails.
Awwww thank you so much!

How many days come in the Phoenix planner? 365 days?
I’m so sorry I don’t know 🤷♀️ And I don’t have that planner anymore to look. Try the website, they’ll have the details.
Which one are you comparing this to?
Do you mean the hard bound planner in the video? It’s called the Phoenix Planner. www.phoenixplanner.com/
How is the paper on the Phoenix Planner?
I’d say average. Not too thin, but average to basic planners.
Where is the first planner from?
The black covered one is a travelers notebook from The Foxy Fix (I think the shop no longer exists though), the large hourly planner is from Erin Condren ☺️
@@AnnieSmithawifenmother Thank you so much!!
what pen are you using gere?
A Pilot V razor point in extra fine ☺️ Writes smooth like silk.

Mine is a horizontal hourly 😭
