Absolutely! When I was looking for a car, I had on my list the X3, Q5, GLC, and the XC60. Ended up getting this XC60. Definitely the most comfortable choice in the segment plus great interior quality. The powertrain isn't as refined as it is in German competitors, but I'm okay with that since this is my daily
@@EUROCARGUY Yes! My thoughts exactly. Please keep posting updates on the lifespan of this vehicle. This may be first non-German daily driver! Thank you again for the amazing content!
@@maddcrz No problem! So I've had the XC60 for 7 months/6 thousand miles and I had zero issues. It proved to be very comfortable, and everything works well, although I do regret getting 20 inch rims. They look great, but despite softly tuned suspension the ride gets a little harsh on very rough pavement or when you hit a pothole. The seats are definitely the most comfortable in the segment, and the adaptive headlights provide amazing light output. Other than that, safety system are not intrusive, full speed adaptive cruise control and semi-autonomous driving work great. I had pretty much the same drivetrain in my 2017 S60 (T5 AWD, 8-speed automatic) and during my 3 years/30k miles I didn't have any issues with it. Like I said, it's not as refined as it is in German competitors and the 8-speed is a little sluggish, but what matters to me the most is that the power delivery is smooth. I will try to post a video about the XC60 towards the end of the year!
@@EUROCARGUY wow! This is so informative! THANK YOU! I completely empathize with rim size, the aesthetic wins me over until I hit a pothole. I'm honestly okay with an 8 speed auto. My main use would be city driving anyway. Unfortunately where I live, there are no autobahn-like conditions, so speed is not necessary.
@@EUROCARGUY I am looking at similar cars. I spend 5-6 hours driving to and from work and am looking for a smooth and comfortable ride. I would favor comfort over performance, since I get it up to speed and cruise.
IMO the best looking luxury SUV. It will age well
Agreed! That's why I got it :)
I’ve driven all the Germans but your videos are luring me to Volvo. Their SUVs are so handsome
