    Hi Mark. I’ll watch whatever you post, mostly for entertainment value. I understand you have no way of knowing whether you are being told truth or BS. My opinion on this guy is that he sounds like a hypochondriac. You name it, he’s had it. And beat it evidently. Yay God! Who needs meds? There seem to be many guys who have moved over there with these fantastical stories. Maybe some are true. I’m betting there’s a lot of variances between 100% bull and truth. I for one am glad crazy has been exported over there too. I will say he looks great for a guy who has all those maladies and gained and lost fortunes.

    I was raised as a Christian by a strugglling family in New York and after I served in the military for 20 years I worked alongside people of many religious and political beliefs from around the world. Real Americans are not from one religious or political spectrum and as long as you understand this you can function in the world.

    I think your disclamer about politics and religion in the beginning of the video was absolutely justified, Mark, and I think your approach is an example of journalistic objectivity. • @donaldmickunas8552
      @donaldmickunas8552 Рік тому +2

      Perhaps. However, when a person walks by faith as a follower of Jesus Christ, their faith will be tested severely. Larry crying out to God to take his life because of the pain but not taking his own life is one such test. Walking after Jesus isn’t for wimps. It is hard. I’ve been doing that for years. The results far outweigh the cost but it never gets easy in this life.

    • @donaldmickunas8552
      @donaldmickunas8552 Рік тому +7

      @@vareseources Of course his way is different. Yet, he has found peace going his way. Why does he need professional help? Because he is different? Because he doesn’t follow the crowd? Because he is perceived as some kind of threat? Given the rise in stress and drug use, how well is the current way working?
      One definition of insanity is continuing to do the same things expecting a different result. Perhaps our society needs to take a good long look at the results of what they are doing and make some significant changes. Perhaps our society needs “professional help” that is effective.

    Good intro, Mark and I agree with your approach. That said, I will draw the line when someone starts the conversation with "FU". As in the case of the guy with the LGB t-shirt. If someone is wearing a T 2024 or B 2024 t-shirt that is one thing and I can respect another's expression. But, when someone's "argument" for their belief starts with a junior high school attitude I have zero interest in getting to know them. Junior high was 50 years ago for me, been there and done that as they say. Perhaps that is my loss. But, more than likely when a person starts a conversation with "FU" he/she is the who is losing out.
    Keep up the good work on the channel!

Im educated on the psychology of someone not mentally well, trying to tell multiple stories while luring someone in with a true story followed by these outlandish accounts of a man trying to make u think he was this very wise extroardinary person who is at the point he is in his life at 63 because of circumstances . He uses God to leverage his credibility. Truly an interesting interview of someone whose stories parrallel stories of those who had a lifetime of drug abuse.

If anything in this piece is true then all American systems are completely broken which is not true, This man bought a house while making 2.25 and hour and in the same sentence he bumped to 2.75 an hour--not happening. SAD interview but very revealing the amount of continuous lies mixed with Christianity was hard to swallow, I don't know how Mark got through the interview--I would of had to cut it off.

Through my experiences living in Thailand my advice to Larry would be to stay in the Philippines. Foreigners being targeted and lied to here in Thailand. The Philippines people have Christian values that you don't see in Thailand. I advise him to stay in Philippines. Evil Hides Well in Thailand.

    Man this guy is a piece of work. I believe he had custody of some really messed up kids that messed him up something fierce. Maybe he just a messed up dude. I don’t know. Entertaining anyways.

    Thank you for this interview. His life experience is the epitome of the channel's title "Every Man Has a Story.' Mark...you struck gold coming up with the niche EMHAS. The life experiences shared by your interviewees never cease to lose my interest. Keep up the good work I've been tuning in to you since your days in Valencia.
