What a wonderful gift to yourself, it’s such a great feeling when you work hard for something. The fact that it doubles as a weapon is truly amazing, wish more Americans would use Leicas vs guns.

Vintage guitars like Stratocaster are often prized for their wear so it’s good to see this camera being lovingly used, scars and all. I have a black Nikon F3T which is in fairly good condition except for the corners where the paint has worn away completely to reveal the silvery tones of the titanium. You can’t see it unless you view it from the sides and I think it’s pretty cool 😎.

Congrats. A superb camera. My favorite Leica so far. Started with a silver chrome M5, then came the silver chrome M8 (one of my most used and loved camera by now), added later a silver chrome M9-P for the fullframeness and just bought a original M4 for a nice price.
The M8 remains stellar in rendering DNGs.

There is a certain feeling in something you know you will never sell, and the leica is a beautiful camera. I have a Zenit B, which while it's a low end slr, is in absolutely perfect condition , and relatively early as a 1972 model making it substantially older than me. I'll never sell it.

This is also my dream camera but the price is way out of my range these days. I have an M6 classic that has been blacked out completely which is also "my" camera and will likely never be sold, however I would like to add an M4-P as a second body and run the M6 as a main with a 50mm and either a 28 or 35 on the M4-P.
