Sitka, AK I was born and raised here and my husband's been here since the early '90s except when he served in the Army. Unfortunately he has a neck injury from the military that's flared up in recent years and we just don't get to enjoy the outdoors like we used to. The 14 miles of road here just aren't enough! We're hoping to ferry out if it's feasible. The schedule is terrible for Sitka and so expensive these days! ​
I've watched all your videos since we saw you two on RV Unplugged. I've learned so much and can't wait to be on the road too! @@VenturesomeCouple

Sitka is one of the most beautiful places in Alaska! We have traveled all over the state and southeast is second to none. We can see where it can be constricting after a while. Our experiences are based on tourism. We are sorry to hear about your husband’s neck. We tell a lot of people to take the ferry; unfortunately it is very expensive. We hope we get to meet you on the road.

@@ScenicRoute907 Thank you, forgot to mention that Martha is from Juneau. She is Tlingit, born and raised. Chris was stationed at Elmendorf AFB, just outside of Anchorage. That’s where we met in the late 1900’s (1999) & been together ever since. Both of us love to travel. We moved our daughter down to Florida (she is 23 now), bought a house here but travel 85% of the year.
