- One of the most beautiful Toy Train experiences we had. Darjeeling Himalayan Railway is a UNESCO certified world heritage site. It takes approx. 8hrs to reach Darjeeling from NJP covering almost 85kms. In between, one can have the glimpse of the Himalayan range and local establishments. Due to some unavoidable circumstances, toy train from New Jalpaiguri stopped but Indian Railways held your hopes and they are now providing Buses to Kurseong, from there one can have enjoy Toy Train ride till Darjeeling.

This train is never consistent about the complete run. I booked DJ to NJP in Oct 2018, and it got cancelled too.. booked for the next day, that got cancelled too. Every time they say it's due to a landslide...
KSR is much more reliable than DHR.

I got married in January 1969 and travelled to Kashmir along with my wife Meera Agarwal by train from Kolkata to Srinagar by Train ! My tickets were booked by First Class ex Howrah to Srinagar by Indian Railways ! Train services were upto Pathankot and from there on we were taken by Bus to Srinagar by Railway Authorities ! On the Way to Srinagar from Pathankot, were provided night stray midway ! Entire cost of train fare, bus fare and night stay was covered in the single train tickets !
Don’t know whether the system continues now !

Beautiful toy rail journey and we really enjoyed it. By the way, please could you tell us about the Red colour round tall box on your right hand side at GHUM Rail Station? If we are not mistaken then it must be an Indian Post office letter box. This is similar to the Royal mail box we see in London. Please could you give us some info if possible at all? Thank you.
Absolutely right that’s post office letter box and are found in almost cities of India…mainly in Mumbai.

Travel by Train 🚆 has been most enjoyable experience for me throughout my life ! One ☝️ can comfortably travel and see the country side during travel ! Services by Indian Railways also have improved a lot ! Look Forward for the Day when travel between Metros will all be possible by travelling overnight only and a person can travel during night, work during the day, and return home next day without spending on Hotel Stays !

We complain only to those whom we like. I really like your videos but I don't like that u started to do just train travel vlogs. Earlier you used to do temples and other but stopped now. Please do dwarka, somnath, and other great temples vlog. Hope you read it
