With child is a older way to say pregnant. Expecting is less old. Now we just say pregnant. I don't know what u all are complaining about

Actually, about two different uses of phrasing used to describe a pregnant woman. Only most of the sketch is about the first one not the whole sketch.
Direct reference to Monty Python, in the style of Monty Python. And beautifully done at that.
This is one of Julian Smith's most underrated videos. I think this is his most clever video as far as humor goes. His other videos are easy humor, but this is more subtle. Very Monty Python. Love it.

I wonder what the reaction would be if you'd go back in time and show this to the cast of monty python XD I think this is sufficiently silly enough
I'm commenting on this 5 years after it's og writing, so I don't expect any response, but doing that could inspire the monty python cast to start monty pythons flying circus, assuming you showed it to them before it started, so you'd essentially be starting monty python by showing them a monty python inspired skit from years in the future that would only come into existence if monty python also existed, which you have just created. In a summary, monty python would have created itself with the assistance of a time traveling comedy enthusiast.

I know I'm 3 years late. but pregnant used to be considered rude. It was embarrassing to be pregnant, and my dad actually wasn't allowed to say pregnant growing up.

MP+Holy Grail = amazingly funny movie, that opens with King Arthur and an attendant galloping on horses to a castle, except that they are actually only "galloping" on foot holding coconuts and making hoofclopping noises with them. You should see the movie - hilarious.

This is by far julians best and smartest video. I love his stuff, but sometimes he falls on the same topic, people in an increasingly awkward situation screaming louder and louder. I know its his style and its hilarious most of the times, but this episode is just brilliant!
