That first story of the crazy lady constantly stalking OP in the shop and the boss ignoring OPs safety angered me so much. OP damn near got kidnapped, yet the bosses attitude was “I don’t care that this lady is stalking you, trying to groom you, constantly harassing you, and is a clear danger to you, I’ll fire you instead of making you feel safe” Just a PSA for younger people: no job is worth your safety, if you have a boss who acts even somewhat like that? Just leave, your life is more important. Also make sure to report incidents like this!
Agreed. Plus I hear, “I live in an area with high human trafficking rates” from about five storytellers a week. I think she made something out of nothing tbh Edit: spelling error
Ugh yes! I specifically went to her reddit post to see the comments, as it sounded a bit like an overly sensitive snowflake, blowing things out of proportion for attention.. She posted this story on numerous subreddits, and some people called her out on overreacting, so she starts ranting in the comments, and one of her explanations in particular made me roll my eyes even harder - someone said that while it's certainly unpleasant to have your picture taken by strangers, perhaps her reacting that way and going to confront the guy, judging by his angry reaction - is not the best course of action, even more so judging by it as irrefutable proof of him being guilty of something sinister. She goes and explains that while she is an adult, she looks like a 16 year old, so "wasn't that creepy that he might be thinking he is taking pictures of a minor" lol like...wtf? Grasping at straws there, sheesh! While I respect and acknowledge the really creepy situations that happen to all of us, some people are just cringy wih milking a rather mundane situation and making it seem more dangerous because they want to milk some attention.
Me and my wife started listening to you because of our daughter! Now we also have chilling just to listen to your stories there! We listen to other narrators but there just not Joel! The story with the girl by the printer is scarier than the rest. I’ll tell you why: that dude probably didn’t take a single picture to begin with, yes she’s so delusional that she turned a probable innocent interaction into a stranger stalking her and more, to the point she called the cops. She was trying to get him arrested! Told from the guy’s perspective kits terrifying!!
I’ve been listening to your videos since the beginning and I’m proud to see how much this channel and community has grown. I’m glad that you’re getting the recognition that you deserve
The chick scared this dude took her picture needs to consider seeing a mental health counselor, granted the man should not have had a coming apart when confronted about the picture taken, but seriously come on... to still be terrified she obviously has super high anxiety. Everyone should be aware of surrounding people, consider possible threats, pay attention etc, but to consider this incident a life altering event is absolutely ridiculous. I don’t doubt it was scary for her and I sincerely hope she seeks help for her anxiety
Seriously. The cops said there were no pics of her, current or deleted, found on his phone. The guy over-reacted for sure but I would probably be put off as well if someone came up and accused me of basically stalking them. And to be scared for her life? She truly does need to get help because you cant live your life being that afraid. I do feel bad for her because she is truly scared. She should talk to someone.
@@jroeglin0729 I Know I told my BF if some stranger wanted to see my phone I’d most likely tell that chick to kick rocks... From my perspective the Walmart story sounded like a guy with social anxiety was trying to get a printer but didn’t want to ask the lady to move. So he pretends to be wondering where to go in the hopes that she moves on her own and when she does he grabs a printer. Then when he’s confronted by her and she demands to see the photos on his phone he overreacts and blows up at her. I doubt I’d let a random person accusing me of being a… whatever someone taking pictures of people in public is called, go through the photos on my phone right away. Sounds like the guy was on the spectrum.
The first story… you can’t legally shoot someone just for being naked, making weird noises, and looking at you in a menacing manner…? The fact that he even considered that like uhmmmmmmm? It sounds like they never even got that close to each other + the other guy had no weapon. Am I missing something???
I’m sorry if I’m being insensitive but I’m a bit confused about the third story - that was the scariest thing that ever happened to OP? I mean, sure, a stranger taking pictures of you is creepy, but is it really so scary you feel traumatized and have panic attacks just thinking about it..? 😐
Does someone have to LITERALLY physically suffer before they’re allowed to feel fear and trauma then? She’s not entitled to be scared and have ptsd unless she was an actual victim of human trafficking?

Yes, actually PTSD generally refers to ACTUAL traumatic events. As a DV advocate, it makes me sick to hear these "trauma victims" over what they thought may have happened...even though actual cops looked into it and found nothing. Please!
Okay kids, if you have someone stalking you or just making you feel uncomfortable, tell your parents before you get kidnapped and murdered. That's what they're there for, to help you through things and help keep you safe. Even if your boss or whoever tells you you have to deal with it, tell your parents and let them guide you through it. If you don't trust your parents (some parents suck, I get it), go to an adult that you do trust.
36th subscriber to like your video, I'm a huge fan, especially how your calming and deep voice makes the listener completely zoned on what you're saying! Great video!
That 3rd story is silly lol. Yes, she was right to ask him for the pictures since he was being sketchy, but you can’t just tell anyone to show you their phone. Seems sort of like a Kafka trap.
The story about the lady and the guy " taking her pic" is funny to me.Shes so worried about a random guy taking her pic when ALL her pics that are on social media platforms can be gawked at by that man an literally a million more. Maybe she doesn't have any kind of social media. But let's be honest.. YES SHE DOES LOL
@@benstochaj844 I'm going to give you some advice. Before you tell someone their spelling is atrocious, you should first check your own spelling. "You're" means "You are". The lady in Walmart and the lady at the grocery store... just listening to their stories made me have anxiety. I really feel both of these ladies have a mental health issue and should consider getting help. They make their situations worse by continually escalating the situation with paranoid thoughts.
That first story is spooky, but legally I'm not sure how well things would've worked out for the narrator if he had in fact shot the guy. Unless he had weapons on him, you don't really have cause to shoot the dude. What's your story gonna be? "A guy was acting really weird so I shot him."? lol

Yes, actually PTSD generally refers to ACTUAL traumatic events. As a DV advocate, it makes me sick to hear these "trauma victims" over what they thought may have happened...even though actual cops looked into it and found nothing. Please!
perfect timing as usual just got into the studio
love catching when these come early. 67 view when i clicked!
Was just looking thru ur old videos to pick from then this beauty popped up. Goodnight world ✨✨🌛
Okay kids, if you have someone stalking you or just making you feel uncomfortable, tell your parents before you get kidnapped and murdered.
You’re voice is so calming I am only on story 3 and I’m fluttering my eyes and yawning 🤭
That 3rd story is silly lol. Yes, she was right to ask him for the pictures since he was being sketchy, but you can’t just tell anyone to show you their phone. Seems sort of like a Kafka trap.
The one lady wondering about the picture... I think her name is Karen and has a delusional value of herself lol...
Another great Video, gotta love it
Lovin'you!! Thank you Let's Read ❤️
The girl with the printer sounds like a professional victim
Dang that first story is a popular one. I’ve heard it three times already
nothing better then whipping up youtube to find a good story to clean to and finding this freshly posted
The story about the lady and the guy " taking her pic" is funny to me.Shes so worried about a random guy taking her pic when ALL her pics that are on social media platforms can be gawked at by that man an literally a million more. Maybe she doesn't have any kind of social media. But let's be honest..
YES SHE DOES LOL
best narrator on youtube HANDS DOWN
Yayyy now I get to go to bed. Love your videos and you love from South Africa
You never cease to amaze me.
I love all your vids. I have been listening for years now! Keep them coming! 🏴x
Who else eating leftover holloween candy while watching this?
You’re spelling is atrocious. Both name and comment
@@benstochaj844 why u hatin
Having leftover halloween candy is a scary story, haha.
@@Bibi-c7r no it's real
@@benstochaj844 I'm going to give you some advice. Before you tell someone their spelling is atrocious, you should first check your own spelling.
"You're" means "You are". Example: "You're going to the gym?"
"Your" is a possessive and refers to a possession of an individual. Example: "Your spelling is atrocious". Thank you and have a nice day.
I'm here fairly early! Love your stories and fall asleep to them all of the time. Thank you for what you do!😊💜💙💚💛❤
Thanks for another great video. Love your work it helps me relax and sleep. Hope you have a great night
And thanks for the nightmares, the first story will give me, "Can he smell me?"
This one had especially interesting stories! Awesome! Keep it up! 😜
YES! JUST FINISHED THE PREVIOUS VIDEO
Thanks again for my bedtime story. Can't wait for the next one. Nite.
That's a damn skin walker
Hiya from 2023! Love you UA-camJoel! 👍🤘🎃🦃
The lady in Walmart and the lady at the grocery store... just listening to their stories made me have anxiety. I really feel both of these ladies have a mental health issue and should consider getting help. They make their situations worse by continually escalating the situation with paranoid thoughts.
Love the video ready 💜💜
That first story is spooky, but legally I'm not sure how well things would've worked out for the narrator if he had in fact shot the guy. Unless he had weapons on him, you don't really have cause to shoot the dude. What's your story gonna be? "A guy was acting really weird so I shot him."? lol
Lmao a naked weird guy on top of that! he’s carrying something alright! 😂
well thats what he said
HAPPPPPPPYYYYYYY DIWALIIIII everyone !! May the beauty of the Deepavali season Fill your home with Happiness, And may the coming year provide you with all That bring you joy!
rn it's a Festival time of Lights is In India, one of the most significant festivals is Diwali, or the Festival of Lights.
Donnie Thornberry lol
Ok not gonna lie, the first story had me a bit shook. This is why I don’t go outside at night 😎
Daylight or not, be aware.
@@Luke-bk8hc facts

The female in the store complaining that the dude was taking pictures just sounds like a karen
