I had a guy following me all over walmart once. In and out of all sorts of aisles where he didn’t seem to be looking at anything. Finally he got really close to me and i ripped a humongous smelly fart. He walked away really quickly and stopped following me after that. 😆

Ugh yes! I specifically went to her reddit post to see the comments, as it sounded a bit like an overly sensitive snowflake, blowing things out of proportion for attention..
She posted this story on numerous subreddits, and some people called her out on overreacting, so she starts ranting in the comments, and one of her explanations in particular made me roll my eyes even harder - someone said that while it's certainly unpleasant to have your picture taken by strangers, perhaps her reacting that way and going to confront the guy, judging by his angry reaction - is not the best course of action, even more so judging by it as irrefutable proof of him being guilty of something sinister. She goes and explains that while she is an adult, she looks like a 16 year old, so "wasn't that creepy that he might be thinking he is taking pictures of a minor" lol like...wtf? Grasping at straws there, sheesh!
While I respect and acknowledge the really creepy situations that happen to all of us, some people are just cringy wih milking a rather mundane situation and making it seem more dangerous because they want to milk some attention.

That first story of the crazy lady constantly stalking OP in the shop and the boss ignoring OPs safety angered me so much. OP damn near got kidnapped, yet the bosses attitude was
“I don’t care that this lady is stalking you, trying to groom you, constantly harassing you, and is a clear danger to you, I’ll fire you instead of making you feel safe”
Just a PSA for younger people: no job is worth your safety, if you have a boss who acts even somewhat like that? Just leave, your life is more important. Also make sure to report incidents like this!

The chick scared this dude took her picture needs to consider seeing a mental health counselor,granted the man should not have had a coming apart when confronted about the picture taken, but seriously come on... to still be terrified she obviously has super high anxiety. Everyone should be aware of surrounding people, consider possible threats, pay attention etc, but to consider this incident a life altering event is absolutely ridiculous. I don’t doubt it was scary for her and I sincerely hope she seeks help for her anxiety

Seriously. The cops said there were no pics of her, current or deleted, found on his phone. The guy over-reacted for sure but I would probably be put off as well if someone came up and accused me of basically stalking them. And to be scared for her life? She truly does need to get help because you cant live your life being that afraid. I do feel bad for her because she is truly scared. She should talk to someone.

Yea.. that one struck me as a bit over the top. I have high anxiety all the time but that was way much IMO. If that event was life altering, I’d hate to see what happens when something actually concerning happens.
To those of you watching, people in these videos often say ‘my neighbor hood/town is pretty safe’ it may be but there will always be one oddball who is a danger to humanity. No matter how safe you think your area is, always keep your wits about you, there is always someone just waiting for the right opportunity.
As it's the same with those communities where there are many registered sex offenders aloud to live in, and some don't even inform the people that move in those communities that people like that live there.

The story about the lady in the grocery store and what she says at the end reminds me of a phrase from the podcast Crime Junkie: preparanoid. Not particularly paranoid and scared of everything, but knowing that every situation and person can easily be scary...and just being aware and careful. Stay safe out there everyone!

The first story… you can’t legally shoot someone just for being naked, making weird noises, and looking at you in a menacing manner…? The fact that he even considered that like uhmmmmmmm? It sounds like they never even got that close to each other + the other guy had no weapon. Am I missing something???

That second story goes on for ages and the situ really doesn't seem that bad. It is like a "first world problems" type story. That woman's problem is her anxiety, paranoia and thinking that everyone is out to get her.
The story sounds like the woman is egocentric and paranoid. But it is at the very end of that story that a good reason for her fear
is mentioned: The city she lives in was the scene of human trafficking that went on beforehand; which is an issue where she lives.
Handlers usually take pictures of their targets and check daily routines before they attempt to kidnap.
The overblown reaction of the photographer is in line with how a guilty person would react: trying to shift the focus from themselves to
the accuser by launching accusations and insults in return as a cover.

The story with the girl by the printer is scarier than the rest. I’ll tell you why: that dude probably didn’t take a single picture to begin with, yes she’s so delusional that she turned a probable innocent interaction into a stranger stalking her and more, to the point she called the cops. She was trying to get him arrested! Told from the guy’s perspective kits terrifying!!
This is the cost of women being huge "fans" of true crime media.

The first story literally gave me chills.
Okay kids, if you have someone stalking you or just making you feel uncomfortable, tell your parents before you get kidnapped and murdered. That's what they're there for, to help you through things and help keep you safe. Even if your boss or whoever tells you you have to deal with it, tell your parents and let them guide you through it. If you don't trust your parents (some parents suck, I get it), go to an adult that you do trust.
The first story sounds like it’s a wendigo or skin walker to me. Explains how they could mimic a woman’s voice and easily walk on all fours and smell and detect someone at that distance.
1st story, be careful, you never know if people work in groups, even if under disguise of being alone, & vice versa.

I would absolutely never show some strange person my phone if they thought I took a picture of them. You don't need to see everything on my phone to appease your paranoia... And if you're in public there is no expectation of privacy so him taking your picture is totally legal. The police never would have searched his phone for that, and if they did search his phone they were wrong for doing so.
