    100' Cord
    Includes:
Rubber protective boot for the Measurement Module
Unipod for measuring without bending (doubles as a 4' vertical calibration standard for the system)
Pair of stakes to secure the Base Unit on a hillside.
One year parts & labor for mfg defects; 2 year prorated for hydro-pneumatic parts & labor.
Works in Range of -22 degrees to 158 degrees
The unit itself does NOT need calibration, The Gas Line every 2-3 years needs to be re-pressurized because it is a gas line. If there is a hole in the cord it Voids the Warranty.
Here is the cost structure to have the Level Re-pressurized:
    ZIPLEVEL PRO-2000 and PRO-2000B:

Just to let you know that you must place the spool horizontally on it's feet for the tool to measure accurately. Nice video!

I own this tool. It is a game changer.
There is a collapsible 4' mono pole that fits to the bottom of the measuring instrument which means you don't have to bend over for measurements.
It measures in any increments you desire all the way down to 1/100 of an inch.
The cord is pressurized and used in the altimeter reading. I have sent my unit back twice in four years because I nicked it and lost pressure. Quick turn around and I was so happy to get it back because we depend on it so much.
Very quick for one person elevation readings. It is so easy to use and I get more accurate data to estimate projects and it is invaluable on the job site.
Go for the 100' cord it is worth the extra cost.

Hey guys, please explain the propose of the cord. Do you have to leave that piece on 0 elevation?

The line is filled with a gas and helps determine its accuracy. It has to be factory serviced annually, and on your dime, to ensure its accuracy.

You should lay the base unit on its back and pull the gas filled cord out first, then Zero. Ensure that it has also been sent in to the factory for it’s regular servicing ($130-$195) to get steady, precise readings.

It is always recommended to be sure that the base unit does not move while getting measurements throughout the project. You are correct in stating that the best practice is to lay the base down as well as pull the chord out first before getting your zero point. An annual recharge of the material in the lines is required due to the fact that it is a pressurized system. Thanks for your comment!

Is not so simple to use if you have to take elevation, for example 700 feet apart

Zip Level does have a CARRY function which allows unlimited ranges without tabulation or calculation.

      @@PaverToolInnovators did you use it?
Is totally unpractical because you have to keep relocating the base unit, while in a rotary laser you don’t relocate anything (in big open areas)

Remember it has to be serviced by the factory each year to maintain its accuracy and on your dime.
