A Brief Trajectory of Duisburg North Landscape Park

This film records several key points in the history of Duisburg North Landscape Park, including why the former ironworks closed down, how citizens prevent the demolition of them, the intervention of IBA, a competition won by Peter Latz and how Latz transformed this brownfield into a worldwide famous postindustrial landscape park.
This film was made in the context of the Urban Trails and Tales _ Narratives of Co-Production within the module ARC6985: Trajectories in Urban Design Practice at the School of Architecture, University of Sheffield. The course, run by Cristina Cerulli and Goran Vodicka, focuses on decision making processes within urban design.
