Turkey in the Straw in my opinion is the definitive ice cream truck song. Maybe I'm biased because it was the most frequent one they played in my neighborhood, but it has such a playful and happy tone to it and the nostalgia always comes rushing in.
No it just makes sense you can find videos trying to mimic a ice cream truck or games and it's 50% of the time that song ur not biased it's just factual
I am 49 years old, and I remember TURKEY IN THE STRAW, THE ENTERTAINER, and CAMPTOWN RACES from when was a teenager. These songs in this video posting sound just like what I fondly remember. There is a song I liked most from 1970's ice cream truck music, but I have not yet figured out the song's name. It would make me break down in tears because it's a very cheerful melody. Hope to find it someday. 🍦 🎵 🎶 🌞
Number 2 and 1 are the ones that marked my beautiful and innocent childhood One summer afternoon in summer of the 2000s playing the xbox 360 happily when suddenly you hear those familiar melodies that were approaching the neighborhood, you quickly go to where your parents are to beg for money, after thatyou quickly go to where your parents are to beg for money, after that you quickly decide to run out of your house so that the truck doesn't run away, you yell "wait" and go to the window to order an ice cream of your favorite flavor and then innocently say "thank you!", that's when you finally decide to give it a lick to savor that flavor in that summer afternoon in the neighborhood. I miss those beautiful years so much, I would like to relive them.
Those pieces of music for ice cream trucks sound like what you would hear when having fun with Nintendo video games for the NES, SNES, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance as well as kids' electronic toys and music boxes. Golly, I particularly have not heard "Picnic (Hello)" since 2008! I remember seeing ice cream trucks pass by pretty often when I was a kid.
