Not to be a downer, because this is a great song and groove, but the 70's are unmatched when it comes to revolutionizing music. The diversity of music, the fact that there were so many sounds coming out. One proof is in the fact that so many songs of the 80's, 90's and beyond have used the 70's beats, rhythms and choruses to base their songs on... from funk, soul, rock and pop
@@curtisgibbons1078 I believe you are mostly correct as much of the music in the 90s was sampled from the 60s & 70s mostly as you indicated. But rap was not a genre and new Jack swing and the audience consuming the music wasn’t main street as it became in the 80s and beyond and that’s what I was emphasizing with my comment. I think these are facts and no Debbie Downer was received from me, lol
