He didn't add any color to it... He stripped all the natural oils and color OUT of his hair with bleach. Beach oxidizes your hair follicles and lifts color, oils, sheen, and moisture out of your hair. The longer you leave the bleach in your hair, the lighter the shade of brown/blonde will be, depending on your underlying hair tones. If it's red when you being bleaching, it'll most likely to brown then to orange, then gold, then blonde and lighter shades of blonde. Just look it up and be safe with that shit because it's dangerous in general and could fuck yo shit up if done improperly.
