  • Itinerary, Drone Shots, the Experience
The Coromandel Peninsula is situated on the North Island of New Zealand. It felt like driving to the ends of the Earth. We went mid-September during the week for five nights and had the whole peninsula to ourselves. Expect stunning coastal drives, lovely villages to explore and epic hiking and camping.
    TIPS:
Be careful of the road conditions. Many roads in the northern part of the peninsula are gravel. Also, the roads are still under construction from the cyclone that struck.
Unfortunately, as of now it isn’t possible to hike the entirety of the Coastal Trail in the north or access Cathedral Cove by foot. However, it is still well worth the visit to Coromandel.
    ITINERARY:
    - Day 1: Owharoa Falls, Karangahake Gorge, Whangaiterenga Campsite
    - Day 2: Pinnacles Hike, Coastal drive to Coromandel village
    - Day 3: Stop at multiple beaches and towns along the coast up to the northern part of the peninsula to Stony Bay Campsite
    Next Video:
    - Day 4: Stony Bay, the Coastal Trail, Kauri Trees
    - Day 5: Hot Water Beach
    - Day 6: Wentworth Camp and Falls
