I've followed Brian for quite some time. He's ALWAYS in peak physical condition. His ring style is explosive and any company would be lucky to have him IMHO.
Yeah I can't understand, not that good on the mic but really? Average at best? This guy looks like a truck and probably hits like one but he can move like a fkn cruiserweight? No company in their right mind passes up that kind of in ring versatility
@@rustlerv6549 he’s losing to jungle boy
He's the absolute shits in the ring, ultimate warrior level suckage
Super underrated. I want him to be successful in AEW because you can tell he’s passionate about wrestling. Seems like a nice guy, who just gets misunderstood.
Never knew he was in wwe but that was worst reason 2 fire him he’s got talent
He’s great, give him a great mouthpiece and let him be a monster heel. I love his style, he just needs to get a push
he needs to sound like how he looks.
I imagine a ultimate warrior type, minus the coke/space hero gimmick, but he needs some punch to his promos to hit the audience.
Hope the new group, helps em shine
he could get a manager , his wife could be a good manager for him
@@animal1nstinct394 Tully is their new manager, they formed a new group on RoH
I agree. He don't sound tuff. He's great but you get the feeling something is missing.
Cage was probably "average at best" back in 2009 but he bulked up more and gained experience over the years from his time with Impact etc. I don't think AEW was ever an ideal fit for him because most of their roster are smaller guys. Cage with his build is tailor-made for WWE and he should have tried going back there after his Impact run ended.
He is very good on the ring but lacks charisma!
He seems to be a great guy.
Bobby Lashley?
Brock Lesnar?
That's why managers exist
He has a ton of charisma, watched this interview
@@bustersales6921 Then why doesn't he display it on live TV
I always liked Brian cage when he was in impact and luchs underground and just wish he would have done more matches in aew
I get the feeling they've used that line on people like Cody and Kenny before.
Brian Cage is 1 of The Most Underrated Sports Entertainment Wrestlers There is. A Big Guy That Can move Like A Small Guy!
Cool see Brian Cage make surprise Royal Rumble appearance, just like how Mickie James did with her Impact music & Impact Women's championship
Dude knows his worth. Good for him.
Brian Cage is for sure better than average. Screw these haters.
If Brian is "average as best" WTF are Madcap Moss and Omos doing there? Doesn't make sense to me
@@joaomendes147 wwe does some things well and does other things horrendously bad. Brian is better off in ROH/AEW.
Spot on assessment
He has a great look, great in the ring. I think he just needs to find a new character because people dont really know who Brian Cage is still. Same problem with Jay Lethal. Hes definitely way more interesting than Scorpio sky tho so its really just about politics.
I think it's because they have no character, Jay Lethal is only remembered for Macho Man gimmick
@@brandonmorgan8975 yeah and brian needs more than just 'the machine' moniker. They both are kind of in creative limbo
@@darylhall2198 definitely in wrestling "being myself" doesn't always work some people say high spots, some say stories, the wrestling, characters so on lol I honestly think it's a mix of everything
@@brandonmorgan8975 i think the character and the story matters the most. Thats really how you get fans. I mean of course nobody wants to see a bad match but for example cm punk is definitely popular because of the anti-hero thing. But I think with the aew crowd they are more into spots.
@@darylhall2198 definitely agree but if I wanted to see nothing but spots I'd watch gymnastics I love spots when needed or the old style of crusierweights
WWE sounds like a toxic gf/bf: "You're average at best". Then they throw huge amounts of money at you to come back.
Ya at this size he is able to pull out 619 and thats above average thing
@@amitavabera797 I wonder who in the WWE keeps telling young hopeful their average at best. WWE turned down Wardlow, Ricky Starks, Daniel Garcia and MJF. They want you to get "experience" them we will call you later. Which means we want you to be a huge star somewhere else then we will throw money at you. Increase our ratings then buried you and make you jobber for our talent.
@@tallglasscocoa6105 they missed out on wardlow, that could have been the next batista guy, and they missed heavy mjf, I heard ricky starks was like the rock
@@theonlygoodonehere2259 The WWE tried making another Batista. What was his name Mason (something). As I said before someone in the WWE tryouts said: MJF, Sammy Guevara, Ricky Starks, Wardlow, Cage and Hangman that they are "average at best". Now they want to throw lots of money their way. They will be on tv to boost the WWE ratings. Six months later they will start losing only to be a jobber to promote their own young stars. I Forget WWE let a young Kenny Omega go after he was in their development program.
Brother it's over once you got beat by a woman for the world title nobody can take you seriously again 🤦🤦🤦
He should get a Mega Push Like The Brok or Bobby Lashley of AEW for real
Cage in LU was a different beast
Its because Brian is not tall enough if he was 5 inches taller Vince would be personally cleaning Brians feet.
facts, every time I look at cage, I get so angry he is too short 6 foot doesn't cut it, if he was 6'3 to 6'5, company would have had him replace brock
Did they lie? The only memorable moment in his career is losing to Tessa Blanchard.
This comment literally blew my mind because that's what I most remember him for.
My man is so juiced up!
Nah he's natty forsure
I reckon with those huge arms, Brian needs 2 get a submission finisher using them.
Like a sleeper hold
No, the accordion rack would be the perfect submission finisher for him💪💪💪💪
I thought brian was brilliant in aew he deffo needs to come back we hope to see him soon aew rules🤘🤘
i’m so sick of everyone saying he’s average at best it’s not even close to the truth maybe for promos but the wrestling he does is amazing watching him is a treat
Took the constructive Critism like a man should
amazing talent!
When he broke away from team Taz I thought he was about to get a giant push (a la wardlow) and then he disappeared. I was very disappointed
Didn’t know he was ever in WWE
He was in FCW on WWE developmental deal don't remember if he was ever on main roster
This dude got so big after 2011..
Why do you think that is OP ? …
Loyalty is royalty.
AEW present him poorly.
He’s proving them right in AEW
He’s losing to jungle boy
I discovered cage at lucha underground.
They're not lying
They weren't wrong
He has a great body, but he hasn't grown in the ring since PWG. He's a big guy who can move. And...? Plus, he couldn't pass a steroid test if his life depended on it.
needs better promo
Wardlow has that spot
Wwe is the girl that you chase but keeps leading you on and gets ran through by a bunch of dudes but then when youre up, they come running back to you
He has the look , the in ring ability but just doesn't have the charisma or mic skills to be a top guy
What do they even mean, by being too indie?
Brian cage vs Brock Lesnar WrestleMania 40
Average at best sounds accurate
You n me both know he’s better than average
@@McHenryCruiser No.
Can't even be pushed more than average Wardlow so your right he's less than average
@@McHenryCruiser have you seen how short the guy actually is?
@@McHenryCruiser his promos aren’t that great, his in work is average at best. His another muscled out guy in a singlet. He’s not found himself as a performer at all
@@UFCWWE69 but he’s buff as heck
So all that was was a complete lack of ownership, it’s always someone else’s fault, petty generalizations & justifications.
That's just WWE playing their little games they're on their little Power Trip they know that Brian is good they just don't want to bring him in because they're trying to test him
nICE.
If he’s average then like 90% of the wwe roster is below average lol
Great look. Super impressive. Wrestles like an idiot. All this guy needs to do is power moves and he'd get over huge to a casual audience. Playing to the wrong crowd.
Brian Cage is awesome and he will be recognized as a great athlete
I always get excited to see him but he always comes off like another generic indy guy. Thats despite being 200 lbs bigger than the typical indy guy. Just felt like he did all the same flippy stuff the rest of them do when he should be booked to destroy people in a few minutes. He shouldnt be having competitive matches with everyone. Makes his stock go down when he is too giving in the ring. Wish him the best wherever his career goes
Hes been a bust in aew
Average at best is completely correct. He can't talk for shit and his move set combined with his 24/7 juicing continues leading to injuries. He's too insecure and is completely reliant on his physique and that's the reason he's forever a mid-carder. Can't fix that. All his blasting and cruising will have him dropping before his 50s as well. Wish him the best luck as a classic physique competitor myself, but he's doing stuff in his industry for the wrooong reasons and it's about to catch up quick.
I mean let's be real here.....were they wrong? I mean dude at least from my perspective hasn't had a memorable match, promo, segment or anything like that. I mean I think there is a reason y the only time people ever really talk about Brian is when they talk about his size
Because he is average at best. He’s mid asfuck. Your videos use to be so diverse with wrestlers from all companies, but now it’s just wrestlers who are in AEW, Got released from WWE & Signed with AEW, just got released from WWE & haven’t signed with anyone else, someone who is bitter towards WWE, someone that wasn’t used properly in WWE. See the pattern?
Everybody in WWE right now is an indie jobber total bullshit
Where’s the lie though 🫤
Brian cage vs Lashley vs Roman vs Brock vs randy Orton be amazing
your attracted to them fru!tcup
