I really hope Tormund survives the series. But if he does die, the perfect way for him to go out would be for him to kill a Wighted Giant, living up to his name "Giantsbane"!

I don't think Tormund will be able to unite and lead all the wildings. At the end of ADWD there as just as many (or more) wildlings on the other side of the wall led by the Weeper than wildings led by Tormund. Unless they all get killed offscreen by the others, there will have to be some resolution, and I don't think it will be peaceful
