Happy Birthday, Boo! You have reminded me of a cat we had many years ago. My son is in his mid-40s now, but when he was about 7, he was into comic books. The easiest way to get to the comic book store in the nearby mall was to cut through a pet store. One time I noticed a lone, black and white kitten in one of the cages. She looked sad and sick. Yes, you guessed it, I felt so sorry for her that I ignored every single rule about buying a pet. (Don't buy from a pet store, don't buy an animal that looks sick, etc., etc.) We called her Boo Boo, and she was one of the sweetest, most loving cats we ever had. Still miss her. Love them while you can!
Happy birthday Boo!!! The first cat I got as an adult was a big, fat silver tabby called Tricky (later renamed Trix.) He was 9 when I got him and I thought I would give him the best few years he had left I could. I had him for another 9 years! He was the best, sweetest boy. He was my heart. I got him about 6 months after my dad passed and I still remember clearly thinking 'my dad would love this cat' when I first met trix. I still miss him. He passed away at 18 yrs. Hugs and chin scratches to all the pets out there.

She has lived in Arizona, Georgia and now Utah 🤗 Makes me sad she's going to be 7!
Aww, lovely Boo, we have had rescues too. So nice to have a cat around. Nothing relieves stress like putting your ear on the side of a soft, pouffy, purring kitty. They are awesome.

Not every area is suitable for cats to wander outside and it can be really unsafe especially when cars are concerned! I think it’s up to each individual owner to decide what’s best for their cat.
