Dr. Wagner, I have to model the same example but for steel fiber reinforced concrete slab. Could you please help me with these points: Does the concrete damage plasticity model is sufficient to monitor the cracking and failure of the slab? How did you calculate the velocity of the impactor, and why did not you set the step time based on this velocity? Why did not you defined the History Output Field? why did you change the dropping height to achieve full penetration rather than increasing the iteration number of analysis?
Dr Wagner, could you please explain the difference between liner bifurcation load, nonlinear bifurcation load , and limit load for axial compression of cylinder?
Dear, I found your videos very helpful. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Can you please make a video on Tsai-wu failure criteria for FRP in Abaqus? I think the properties of GFRP are variable depending on different situation. So I am unable to model the GFRP tube filled with concrete in flexure. I can model the hollow tube properly. But the concrete filled tube is not working in the same way. From some papers I have found that they used Tsai wu failure in flexure for concrete filled FRP tube. But I do not know about this technique. I will appreciate if you please have some suggestions for me. Thank you.
@@sohailhamza2812 hmm hard to say, those are the places were the damage parameter exceeds 1, you can induce a certain crack pattern if you use geometric imperfections like shown here: ua-cam.com/video/MyCLtYjtIt0/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/pRRjobNzNKQ/v-deo.html
Dr. Ronald, you are on the next level of sharing knowledge. Your presentations and inp files are great! Thank you a lot! I Wish you all the best!

Dear Dr., does CDP takes into account the effect of strain rates?

Dear Sir, can you perform the dynamic tensile test with different strain rates?.
Hi, Dr. Wagner, can you do modeling of UHPFRC in Abaqus?

Hi sir why didn't you consider tension damage?
You took only one stress value! Any particular reason for this?
I was actually lazy on this part, but it is done in the same way as for compression
@@hnrwagner OK.
When elements get deleted can we say that those are the places where cracks occur??
I want to get crack patterns how I get them.?

Sir please give any simple model to use in ABAQUS, other than CDP
Sir can you please bmake a video on impact or penetration of bullet in a dome/helmet
Please give a reference, I am not familiar with this topic
Thanks 👍. Why don't you make a course on Abaqus simulations and sell on Udemy, people will pay for quality content.
Sir, I am waiting for brick wall modeling and analysis.
